Rather unrelated to my rant, what sort of societal backlash do you think will occur as a result of the "hustler" philosophy? More emasculation? Or will nothing major come of it?
The way I tend to look at developments like this is see what the opposing side thinks, find what they both have in common, and assume the stuff they both think/don’t care about will be the new normal.
Left-wing activists reject capitalism, right-wing activists embrace a neocon corporate outlook, commonality is both saying fuck mom and pop, local economies die and increasingly become govt-backed mega corps.
c. 2015 trannies become the new hotness for the LGBT, society wrestles with the ACK! question, but any vestige of rejecting gays and lesbians is wiped off the map.
Likewise, we now have a highly authoritarian crowd that’s been pushing to wear the mask, eat ze bugs, take ze boosters, and narc on anyone and everyone that doesn’t do the same.
Counter to these sorts, unironic sigma grindset niggers come along with a philosophy only concerned with making money and promoting yourself, intentionally being as shady and amoral as possible, and viewing everyone else as a mark/opportunity.
Though one promotes the self for social/moral gratification and the other promotes the self for material gain, the commonality is clear. Other people aren’t individual, unique spirits to whom you owe human dignity, and from whom you should seek to better understand the human experience, they’re means to an end. Extort them for profit or browbeat them to get in line, just don’t dare consider that they might be your fellow men.
And especially don’t consider that keeping you so focused on yourself might just be a ploy to make you as easily manipulated as possible. People focused solely on their own immediate gratification rarely change the world, even less so for good.
