I’ve seen a few mentions of her weight gain. Can anyone elaborate on this? To me she’s so huge and filtered I can’t ever tell if she’s lost or gained weight, with the exception of the weight she stacked on in the two months after Nader ditched her. Add the tarps and I can’t tell what the fuck is going on with her anymore. Has she really gained a ton of weight or is it just that the sheets emphasise how spherical she is?

She has definitely gained weight. She admitted that she hadn't lost any weight when she weighed herself at the science museum -- likely the only place she could find a scale that would weigh her. And that was a while back and before she was truly comfortable eating like a pig in front of Salah.

I'm not sure if it has been discussed here, but what do you make of Salah using WhatsApp to first contact her rather than Tinder? Does that mean anything? According to her, she was fed up with dating men and just put her phone number down in her profile on Tinder. The next day, she had a message from Salah on Whatsapp. He was the first (only?) man to text her, so she believes he was "sent from God". This all sounds sus to me, but maybe it's common on Tinder. Maybe it's just a cover story and the married man just gave her number to his nephew.

I believe his Tinder profile was found and contacted. There were several women who claimed to have spoken with him on Tinder, but I don't believe anyone provided proof. Everything moved along quickly, but I still wonder if he really spoke to any other women. At least one claimed to have send their conversations to Chantal, but they never posted the conversations for the rest of us to see. I would hope that if anyone had messages with him they'd post them publicly. We'd probably be able to tell pretty quickly whether he's a romance scammer from those messages.

ETA: Nader is supposedly going live soon in order to show a series of messages from Chantal. He says she messaged him from another alias on Facebook, and after three days of messages she admitted to him that it was really her. I suppose him lying about it is about as likely as her actually doing it, so who knows.

I was scrolling through that Happy New Year post, just to watch him not look at her. At 1:20, she touches his headwear, and he literally jumps away.

I guess she’ll go home to Canada as I suspect she bought round trip tickets. I assume so, and no doubt Salad is encouraging her to do this, maybe feeding her lies about the Visa, using her cats as reminders she should go back as well as the travel difficulties happening now. I actually don’t think he hates her but she disgusts him with the constant eating and annoying habits. I do think he spends most of his day elsewhere, and if he was in this for a Visa, his hopes have been dashed.

He’s not going to want her back. I wonder what excuse he’ll use, and what we’ll be told? How can he hide when she knows where he lives and works? And where things are difficult for him to change? She could get on a plane against his wishes. If she can afford another flight, that is.

Some think she won’t want to come back but Chantel is unlikely to let him go. Her channel is dying, she has no other way of making money and being in the hot, boring Middle East where she can’t even speak the language as a fat oppressed wife is a lot better than single Canadian freedom.

Somebody claimed her, and she’ll never let that go.
