Not necessarily. I mean, like Sinseer, this Rubin fella is certainly acting like he just appears to have discovered his thread, but there are a lot of lefties who have bought the idea that there is this massive right-wing terrorist plot to take over America. It was all I heard after Governor Whitmer's kidnapping plot was exposed, then the whole publicity with Trump and the Proud Boys, then the announcement that white supremacist 'activity' was on the rise (which was probably just people with Confederate profile pics typing 'nigger' on WhatsApp), that whole deal with Parler, and the narrative of some massive hidden online conspiracy just became the consensus. To their thinking, there is zero daylight between wishing somebody were dead and an actual death threat, or saying a racist slur and then being a would-be plantation owner. Combined with the fact that people aren't used to being actively mocked and grossly overestimate their right to privacy online, and the occasional user who gets a little too...invested, there are probably lots of randos who feel galvanised to do something, and tagging companies in indignant Tweets is probably the greatest way to convince yourself you're making a difference.
The absurdity of it all is that Tweedlepedo and Tweeldeschizo here are doing exactly what we're doing to them, watching people of interest and talking about them.
Think like a progressive looking to prove a point. It's not the context or import, it's just the words and their remotest implication.
"0% attention" - Inconsiderate, a liability, callous, thus sociopath, thus murderer
"Covid bullshit" - Vaccine denier, anti-science, non-compliant, anti-authority, thus insurrectionist
"Racist community" - Presumably found on r/actualracists
"Murder you" - Conspiracy theorist, thus election denier, thus Trumpist, thus fascist, thus Nazi, thus Hitler
