(Ballad of Mundane Matt, the Deviants series, TGWTG series, Hugbox Chronicles, Internet Insanity, his Danny the Panda/ChibiNeko Demyx streams, etc.) and it's pretty damn sad to see him finally leave. I'm glad to have enjoyed his videos when I did and I hope his last days are enjoyable (as much as they can be with a terminal illness)

But really, even as the low effort format was fading he still managed to remain likeable... and that is remarkable. As the outrageously disgustingly brain damaged have become the norm, the joy of finding hidden gems of stupidity has lost most of its luster. In my view two things affected Metokur's impact: the unrealized Covid plague with the subsequent absence to deal with his own strange canceraids, and the Chris Chan family hour that really couldn't be topped by any commentary. But a friendly voice is a friendly voice and it's nice to have around when you need to be reminded that you're not going crazy.

I still hope he doesn't go so early so he can live to become the internet villain. He's being pretty chill about the whole thing too (if true) and that qualifies as admirable. But at least we have @#KillAllPedos around to keep us entertained until it gets too creepy.
