The hell would a redemption arc even look like for him? What can he say that would earn your respect back?
There is always a road to redemption. Even for the biggest cows.

You are correct that for some the damage is too much over too long a period and they're still a lolcow. But to sit here and say Nick is in that category is a bit much. You may think he's shown his ass but he isn't a full blown cow by a long shot.

I still consider this a subplot of the Keffals/YouTube Ban arc.

And obviously there's no set of magic words he could say to get back what he never had. I just liked having someone who could talk about legal topics in a way that wasn't soul-crushingly boring. He didn't have to have some Richard Posner level takes to be amusing.

So I guess he could start some law talking again.
Exactly.

If he went back to his roots (or even worked in some new stuff along with it) most people wouldn't be screaming "but Mah bALLdO" and fucking with him. They be happy and tune in

He'll be alright in the long run and 6 months from now this will seem like a faint dream.

So has there ever been a satisfactory explanation for why they have a nanny? My understanding is that lady rackets has been a SAHM her whole life, and while Rackets did presumably work out of his strip mall office, he certainly works from home now. Why do they need a nanny? 5 kids can be a handful but certainly not so many that 2 parents can't teach them and keep track, especially if they have a home school group.
Their style of homeschooling involves enrolling the kids in classes/activities at local schools or homeschooling co-ops, which necessitates bussing kids around to different locations throughout the day.

The hell would a redemption arc even look like for him?
I'm sure any number of people here could draw up lists, and I have my own ideas, but any list would have to have "he wants redemption" as #1.

He doesn't. Nick is notoriously contrarian. Sometimes to his own detriment.

Thus, I think any discussion of a redemption arc is premature at best, and pointless at worse. I'm not saying he could never come back from this but, right now, it's difficult to see a path forward because of who he is and how he acts.

If he went back to his roots (or even worked in some new stuff along with it) most people wouldn't be screaming "but Mah bALLdO" and fucking with him.
Maybe you missed it, but he flat out said he no longer finds enjoyment in his roots, and doesn't want to do long-form legal content anymore.

So Nick's show has definitely changed. He brings a different sort of content now, which is a bummer. His old stuff was pretty great and unique.

I still like the new format, mostly by happenstance. But I do not think I represent the average fan and Nick should not depend on people like me that just so happen to enjoy both types of show.

Especially because I don't donate.

He came out and said that his whole persona was fake and that if you liked it you can fuck off. Could he maybe do a redemption and get a lot of people back? yes. But the people against him will stay. I was one big fan and i now hate when he goes on good shows and ruins them. I don't mess with him on his show but i do make it very clear on shows i like that he is a coomer.

It's a fair point. Why would I watch little Nicky when Joe Rogan and PKA are a lot more entertaining. How many 4-5 hour shows can I watch in a week?
Nick biggest problem is he was actually a unique thing with the trad persona and law talk. Cooomers with basic-bitch republican takes are a dime a dozen. Legalmindset does what he wants to do way better.

And the content is what you can get from a million other brain-damaged retards. Oversharing about gross shit nobody cares about. Embarrassing.
Some might even say it's SHAMEFUL

This pollock nigger is building a hugbox full of retards, whether he realizes it or not and I can't wait until they encourage him to fully actualize and publicize every aspect of his degeneracy. It sounds weird to say, sounds weird to even speculate, but Rumble is the biggest faggot hole of retards imaginable. YouTube's chat is gay as fuck because of its overlord bullshit, Rumble's chat outright volunteers to be the biggest faggots possible. Locals is where you pay for the types of stupid parasocial nigger shit you get for free on other social media.

Big ups to Liquid Richard.

I haven't listened in weeks. Did he really say this? What is he going to do now? Be a slightly less retarded Timcast? The law shit was the ONLY THING that made him interesting and unique. If I wanted to listen to some weird faggot that likes his wife getting fucked by other dudes, I would listen to Destiny.

The wine moms over on locals have formed a hugbox and helped Nick convinced himself that people are more interested in Nick than the law or other stuff. Nick is delusional enough to think its all about Nick now. That Nick and wife are so interesting that there is an audience to hear him talk about going to gay bars, using Erectile disfunction sex toys and his middle-age journey into being a swinger. All while he gets all kinds of ass pictures shared to him. Nick also sees himself as a victim of life, kids and adulthood. He wants to be "free" and act like a 20 year old rich dumbass.

Its a lethal poison hugbox combined with a midlife crisis.

Yes.

Thankfully I don't have to go dig through shit, because Elissa already clipped it.

What is he going to do now?
Hang out with the wine mommies on Locals and oogle their tatas?

I mean, he's presumably gonna do some legal content because of his Rumble contract, but the long-form document reading that he became famous for in 2018, 2019, and 2020 is over. He says he doesn't have the time for research and he no longer enjoys it.

Yeah, I don't really see what the unique selling point of his channel is anymore. I guess he's backed off on "My channel is for coomer talk only now and if you don't like it then fuck off" but, based on stream titles, the replacement is "X state changes Y law" reading off the news story that was the top search result on Google? No thanks!

The ChatGPT thing from the previous stream was interesting since that was released in November so Nick over a month late. I've already read commentary from actual subject matter experts, why on earth would I watch Nick talk about it 5 weeks later? Maybe Nick should have took a night off from the gay bar and covered it in early or mid December? I googled it and picked the first news article that comes up" is the extent of his preparation before every show. I unironically prefer watching Ethan Ralph watch Tucker than Nick struggle through a news article, because at least Ralph usually shuts the fuck up and then it's just Tucker.

Nick has said he's not working through actual cases anymore because that takes work. He also presumably will stop making fun of stupid shit on the Internet now because any of the involved parties can just clap back with his own laundry list of stupidity and it's not like Nick could call Jack Murphy a prude.

So I no longer have any reason to watch his show. I might still put trial streams on for background listening again but based on the last two trial streams his debauchery has degenerated to the point where he cannot wake up in the morning so as to actually cover a trial, so those might be over with anyway.

The idea of a redemption arc is curious. True redemption (on the internet) is impossible for a known hypocrite since they have demonstrated their tendency to hide their true selves. Being a hypocrite is a badge that Nick has earned and will have to wear going forward.

Nick has demonstrated the inclination to adapt to whatever will bring him attention/money, and that's hardly an indicator of sincerity. He only screwed up because he thought he had more power/influence than he really did. Played his hand too early.

The only thing that is likely to change at this point is Nick's likability. People can like him more or like him less depending on his content. Only a willing idiot would trust him going forward though.

And if there's another lawyer who won't bring up after dark subject matter, I'll tune into that lawyer instead.

It has been mentioned elsewhere in the thread, but this bears repeating:
  • This fool seldom did much for show prep. He would always be fumbling for documents, seldom were documents highlighted, it was always just bumbling through it all. Now that was part of the charm, you got the whole enchilada. The long-form, "in-depth" analysis was rare on youtube. But at times, it was a lot of vamping or dead air time because he couldn't be fucked with to download a pdf 15 minutes before a show started.
  • I don't know what he's doing that eats up all of his time. He teaches maybe one class for the home school co-op, maybe every other "semester". Kayla has no job is a stay at home mom. They also have (or had) an in-home nanny for the kids. Granted, kids need driven to events (and God save them from Nick's terrible driving). Aside from the trial days where he would cover a trial for 8+ hours, and do a 3+ hour night stream, he generally has a good 20 hours a day with very little to do.
I guess at least now, he's dropping the pretense of any sort of show prep or even topic preparation. It's just boomer-coomer, 24-7.

This is the real shift in how i look at Nick's content. In the past i'd look for forward to hear his take on a topic and now i know he is going to have the least interesting take on it. I think a big part of that is his abandoning of the stream chats for locals. He doesn't get that the chat was co-host on the show.

It's not the first time he has shown this lapse of judgement. He did that retarded livestream archive channel for the algorithm and it meant the stream was 100% worthless after the fact because the chat was stripped out.
