"Current year" terms that piss you off

The use of the word "cute" to describe absolutely everything. Guilty party is usually teenage girls but I'm seeing women upto their late 20s with this terminal retardation.

For example, I saw a woman describe some bananas, a candle and a dog chew as "cute" in the supermarket.

Also, in Scotland it is very jarring to hear the word "pretty" in a pseudo American accent. "OMG! That's so priddy!!!" Nails on a chalkboard.

If it ain't priddy it must be cute. The two choices.
I dunno, that's pretty cute.

I see it as one of those terms like "gaslight" where when used appropriately I have no issue with it, but they're both too often abused.
The problem is the bad, retarded current year use of the word has driven out the useful meaning, so people will not only assume you mean the current year meaning, but on top of that will assume you are a current year retard.

People adding (TM) onto the end of things for reasons I cannot explain.

Usually done by "alt" girls who can't survive with out social media.

Not sure what a good example is, they will post something like:

"Having a badfeels(TM) day gamers. :( :( :("

It is insanely retarded and I do not understand at all.
I use the ™️ or ®️ when referring to establishment/PC/NPC buzzwords like Our Democracy™️

Guys referring to their girlfriend/wife as "my partner."

i.e. "I went to the store with my partner this morning."

It sounds both too formal and too gay at the same time.
Yeah. It only ever made sense in the context of the whole civil union/gay marriage thing. Otherwise it's just weird and makes the relationship sound weak. You go out with your wife. Rekeita takes his partner to cuck week in Jamaica

Or worse, their "SO" (short for "significant other"), commonly used on reddit. It sounds like a homosexual trying not to reveal himself.

I'm sorry, I know a lot of people here will disagree.
But I don't understand how anyone can say soy boi or white genocide unironically without wanting to kill themselves.

Oh and "End of an Era" is the cringiest term I've ever heard. Except in rare circumstances, an era doesn't end with the conclusion of a piece of media or death of a celebrity. Your anime ending or youtuber retiring isn't the end of shit.

I DON'T WANT TO KNOW YOUR PRONOUNS

I don't even understand why people need others to know their pronouns so badly if they're almost never used when the person is present. How would they ever know? It's like, "I told all my friends how much of an annoying asshole you are behind your back, but at least I gendered you correctly when I did it".

The idea is that all the good thinkers will tattle to the troon and/or human rights tribunal
