In October - Rubin Remus posted about me almost 900 times.
The rate has not slowed down. He has posted thousands of times over the past three months. In addition he’s set up a Medium account about me and posted long rambling posts about why I deserve his attention.
He takes the time to listen to and transcribe my podcast appearances using a software tool and goes apeshit over sentences that most people agree 100% with i.e. mutilating teenagers.
He searches out all the social media accounts of the organisation I work for and posts them with my name.
He targeted my US colleague by name and called for him to be sacked. He targeted my African colleague by name and twitter handle and also my Italian colleague. He got my work Twitter account (I don’t run any of the corporate social media accounts) suspended over a ‘hateful’ meme about LGBT rights being a Trojan horse.
He’s targeted my faith community & suggested that individuals need to be made aware of my online activity in order that they can condemn me. He’s given a nod and a wink to posts suggesting people come to the church and picket it. He’s elicited responses about how people are going to challenge me in public over my posting on here.
He tries to harass me via my husband and the church authorities, demanding that they disassociate themselves publicly from my views, not understanding that a) they reflect church teaching and b) I am not an employee or official representative of the church so they are not going to be bothered about “calling out her posts” because they have no more authority over me than any other Catholic blogger or tweeter, many of whom say a lot stronger stuff. The Church is not going to make a point of publicly calling me out.
They are basically being total antediluvian misogynists by trying to hold my husband account because his wife is pushing back against an abuse bunch of transsexuals and their hangers on who have terrorised her family.
He’s RT blogs suggesting I am a paedophile. He’s RT and engaged with a woman suggesting I should have my kids removed.
His entire brand is based on “burn this witch for her views and posting on a site I don’t like.”
Despite blocking him, he still attempts to contact me, making direct appeals to me using my Twitter handle. He screenshots my feed (which isn’t an offence my Twitter is on a public website), screenshots my posts on here, on Mumsnet and on GETTR and strangely demands I “account” for it.
He searches my mentions and inserts himself into conversations and responses towards me despite a block.
The behaviour is alarming, pathological and obsessive and the account has been cheered on, celebrated and encouraged by individuals with a known involvement with and connection to another abusive account as well as a record of anonymous harassment. They have in fact, cheered him on and told him he is doing a great job.
The only thing I am going to do with any information passed on regarding this account, via Null, is give it to the police and other professionals to use as evidence in court.
And the response to this from those involved is more threats about meetings and conversations and how Null’s apparent willingness to help identify this person, is a total outrage that I should be penalised for.
