How did you become a Kiwi Farmer? What brought you here?

For me it was curiosity. The German autistic illuminati (Germans LOVE to pozload my negholep and do gayops) told me to only visit Kiwi Farms with a VPN because they'll leak your IP and dox you. Couldn't keep me away. Lurked for 2 years and then joined to help with the Drachenlord thread. How about you, guys?

Been aware of the site since early 2021 while keeping up with the Sinseer drama in Fallout 76, Looked up definitions for "responding to drama in a funny way" and found the word Lolcow and then found this place, Looked around here and there but didn't really start lurking until the Chris Chan incest leaks, Originally signed up later that year to dump Sinseer dox but ended up making a thread due to how much content there was lol, Been enjoying harvesting content and reading about other cows since.

I occasionally checked KF briefly a few times for specific times Chris-chan did notable things, and I ended up becoming a consistent lurker when Christchurch happened because it was the only site hosting the video and all the negative press just made me more interested.

I ended up making my account, oddly, based on finding out UkinoJoe a Newgrounds animator I had liked for over a decade was a schizo, whiny, backstabbing TDS NPC and my first post was lamenting that.

I joined in 2013 but was aware of the CWCki forums for a little bit before that due to spending time on the CWCki. Initially I assumed that the forums involved active trolling plans and didn't want to participate, just observe. I was happy to find that the whole point of the forums is to observe and goof-off with fellow weirdo-watchers.
I used to be involved in some drama-centric groups on DeviantArt that were like a dumber, cattier, KF that didn't know how to keep their hands off of the lolcow. I think the farms has an older demographic so there's not as much of the high-school esque drama.

Got asked my opinion about a writer that I knew vaguely and had always found something off about. Did a bit of looking, wound up here on his thread, and got hooked. Lurked for 5 or 6 years before making an account during the Byuu fiasco.

I occasionally watched DeadwingDork, who does streams and videos on lolcows, and he often mentioned Josh and KiwiFarms. Curiosity has killed a cat, and here I am.

I used to lurk tumblr for relative lolcows, and one day I did a search for one of the nuttier ones and the farms popped up in the results. So I started reading threads here, laughing my ass off, read about Chris, and just kept coming back. I just vibed with humor of this place more than any other site I’ve ever been to, and the community won me over. Enough time passed and I decided to make an account.

I browsed the site for years way before the account.
I was here quite early on, but the focus on CWC was off-putting for me as I was not interested in one individual or another, just events and large groups of people, so I just forgot about the site for years, and then only visited periodically during various chimpouts.
At some point I lost my Twitter account, and I was no longer using Reddit for years either, Youtube, Odysee etc. were irrelevant for anything worth discussing, so I just said to make an account and use the site the same way I used forums many years ago when we could express ourselves more freely. I think it was at the start-ish of the Keffals drama.
But basically I lost faith completely that mainstream social media can be redeemed, I despise circlejerks like GAB and Poast and Parler, so KF was the only thing left.

Been lurking imageboards forever. 4chan, 420chan, some european boards mostly. These days I don't feel welcome there anymore or find anything worthwhile in there. They've changed. In addition to those I've been pretty active on multiple different forums. I'm one of those people who remembers what internet was like before everything got so... serious. There was good OC, no centralized platforms, no highly regulated discussion culture. Sharing ideas, shitposts and laughs with other anonymous strangers on the internet without any limits is great and after lurking Kiwifarms for a good minute I decided to create an account when the registrations opened up again. This place has that nice, dangerous aura around it which is hard to come by these days.
