However, if you can extract what font is being used, at what size, and can turn off antialiasing (to ensure a perfect bitmap every time), then creating a tool to scan a bounded rect within a window and match it to stored bitmaps for the font in question should be child's play to implement, far less resource intensive, and lack the potential for error inherent in all derp learning solutions. Just saying.
