Halfway, I stopped. As remotely "honest" the review is, everything else made me roll my eyes. I don't live in California enough to endure this slop.
It also doesn’t help is some dumbass white simp who said, “Look, male origins are terrible, end them all. But also, rude to Black Widow, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Rey, and most Catwomen. We're nowhere near origin equity, but it's a mark much missed to say female backstories are only Crazy Hotness.”

God, I hate these people.

What was their consept anyway? I never bother to watching it because it looked like Rick and Morty clone and nothing in the admittedly little advertising I was willing watch showed anything unique. I kinda want to knon if it was me jumping into conclusions or if it was the show.
I have suffered through clips of the show. The concept is that the cast works for the government and has to keep all conspiracies as conspiracies as they are all real. They work as aides to the deep state. In saying this, the clips would barely give you that impression.

In actuality, most of the show seems to be about Reagan’s shitty home life with her abusive father and her needing to be normal. She has a generic enthusiastic white boy that is clearly shipping bait, but they will likely only keep them as friends. Much of the clips of the first season can be summed up as: Reagan needs to people better, Brett is a himbo Tumblr simps for, the alien is a sex joke, the Asian wants nothing but sex, the black woman is the social media influencer, and the whale guy is the punching bag with war jokes.

Going over the humor, the first season was generic adult cartoon shit with a California twist. Basically shit Adult Swim, making the typical sex jokes and swearing jokes, but not racism or sexist humor unless it is about how Conservatives are those things.

Season 2 is all shit Reddit and reference humor from the clips I saw. Here are some of the amazing jokes:
  1. Lin Manuel and Hamilton are the peak of rap
  2. Keanu Reeves
  3. Liking the Shrek 2 soundtrack
  4. Incels on Reddit
  5. Insane Clown Posse (how they fucked up a joke about them I have no idea)
  6. Alex Jones bad
  7. Seinfeld is poorly written
  8. Daria reference
  9. The pope supports AOC
  10. Mark Zuckerberg is a reptile
  11. Conservatives in anti-gun control shirts
  12. Going after Tobey Maguire and saying he is a loser who gets no bitches as he doesn’t listen to women.
  13. Celebrities, just celebrity cameos.

Pantheon was AMC & was honestly really good. Such a shame it got cancelled because it was dumped into a streaming service no one has even heard of.
it's so fucked up that the Online Animation Cliques on Twitter, etc. who want Animation To Be Taken Seriously spent the past few months gassing up shows for literal toddlers like Bluey and girding themselves to defend the honor of DC's League of Superpets etc. and continue to ignore actual animation for adults (not stoner humor sitcoms) . Animation will never be taken seriously, and sometimes I think "good" because those people don't deserve it.

Inside Job has been cancelled by Netflix. They also cancelled some show called Pantheon, so I guess they're on a cost-cutting spree lately.

Source:
As I said some time ago. I can give inside job credit for these two high points.

1. Unlike big mouth or human resources, the sex jokes while there (especially with the mushroom) they're really tame when compared to big mouth, almost on par woth something youd see on adult swim, unlike the former shows which at this point are 50% soft core animated porn 50% Seth Rogan and nick knoll voicing their woke talking points.

2. The episode the brettfast club. Unlike other adult or even cartoons in general that for the last few years have said, "gee the 80s/90s were such awesome totally cowabunga rad years, oh to be able to relive them again." Inside job basically said the opposite. No your past is never as good as you remember it being. Any memories of good times you had at best were filtered by nostalgia, at worse were a fake reality created by it.

It's a messenge rocko's modern life tried to tell its target audience, but botched because it relied on nostalgia to even exist.

So even with extra credit inside job still got a 70...which isn't good but isn't bad either and we all know what happens to the student who coasts through school on a C average.

I guess hiring Daniel Kibblesmith to write for your show wasn't such a bright idea...

I'll never get tired of saying this, but I'm pretty sure that as a kid Danny kibble and bits was the dork who went to school with baloney on white with mayo and salt free crackers. The kid who got stuffed into his locker at school and had his underwear run up the flagpole at summer camp. The kid who's parents didn't even have basic cable and he watched PBS all day instead of nickelodeon and cartoon network.

Even if that's just me making stuff up to mock him. I based it on the fact that he has openly admitted that he wasn't allowed too
/didn't like to read the hyper violent and gory comics of the 90s. And he created snowflake and safe space for the new warriors because they were "the heroes he wished he had as a kid."

Yeah this guy..this is the guy you get to write your adult cartoon that wants to be Netflixs answer to Rick and Morty. You have only yourselves to blame.

I thought his name sounded familiar.

Even though I never watched Inside Job and never will, the fact Netflix will cancel everything but Big Mouth is both hilarious and sad.
Plus it makes me wonder who the hell is watching Big Mouth
Big Mouth Is sadly very popular with the late teens early 20s soy crowd who grew up on Family Guy and worship Seth Rogen's movie's and stupid raunchy sex humour of the the 2000s. So basically Typical Netflix subscribers.

You know things need some livening up around here and that last one reminds me what might be the best joke a once great show by a once great man said.

Fairly odd parents schools out the musical.

Floppy Bob's dad Clown: we even checked the US congress...it was full of clowns! But none of them were fun!

The whole special is available free on YouTube, I cant time stamp the momment but it's 43:58

Dunno where else to put this, but about a week ago I decided to check out that new animated Christmas Carol film that released on Netflix a month ago. If anyone‘s curious, the title is “Scrooge: A Christmas Carol.”

So I watched it and honestly I found myself really enjoying it overall. It’s no groundbreaking masterpiece, but for what it is, I consider it a solid film/adaption of the book. It’s also based on the 70s musical film (which apparently the songwriter for came back to specifically work on this film before he passed. There’s a tribute to him at the end which I thought was nice.)

If you’re not a musical person, then this movie probably isn’t for you. I know many might not like this movie because it’s not the most book-accurate adaption, but coming from someone who loves the original book, I still loved this film regardless.

Honestly, my favorite aspect of the film is its visuals.

The character designs were hands down some of the best I’ve seen in a long while. My personal favorites were Jacob Marley and The Ghost of Christmas Past. Marley has the best design in the film imo. He shows up like a fucking badass and his whole ice/frost-theme really seals the deal for me. His firey coin-eyes were also a clever touch.

Marley was always my favorite character in the book and I’m really happy that he got some of the most badass scenes in the movie.

As for Past, I found her/their design to be very unique and creative. She’s basically a shapeshifter made of candle wax that can take the form of whoever she wants. She’s also one of the funniest characters in the film imo.

As for the main character himself, aka Scrooge, I thought he was great. I thought the music was also great and most of the songs have more or less grown on me.

I don’t want to go overboard so I’ll just leave it at this. Overall, I personally found this movie to be a solid 8.5/10. It’s certainly not for everyone and I can see why some people wouldn’t like it; it definitely lacks in a few places and imo would’ve benefitted from having a slightly longer runtime. As for me though, its earned it’s spot as one of my top 5 christmas films and I’ll definitely be watching it next time the holiday comes around.

(tbh though the funniest aspect of this movie for me is the absolutely batshit insane attention it’s gotten over on Tumblr. There’s a whole wave of fangirls on there completely simping over Scrooge’s design - it’s the Tumblr sexyman Onceler shit all over again. Between that and a few choice people on YouTube seething over this movie because “waahh it has black people in Victorian London wahhh”, I can’t decide which is funnier.)

Thanks for the write-up, I always enjoy hearing about things people check out randomly and end up really enjoying.

I hate simps, don’t care if they’re a guy or girl. I can’t stand them.

I like a beautiful woman as much as the guy but I will never blindly support a person/character just because they’re hot. That’s just shallow.

The animation is....actually surpisingly decent? Although HOLY SHIT I hope Buster's voice either changes or improves when it comes out, because he sounds positively terrible.
You know for all the good he did in his life and career. Chuck Jones once called tiny toons the looney tunes "retarded step child." Chuck you were kinda harsh on the original but even you have to agree (wherever you are in the vast infigma of the universe). That the original tiny toons was better than this.

At least the original tiny toons has the excuse of being made at a time when the industry was still struggling to escape from the dark ages of animation, and was just starting to find its footing.

This list actually makes it look like terminally online addicted posters from Reddit tried to make a TV cartoon, yet they didn’t realize that there other young adults out there that may not know what Reddit is or how to use it.

Also, CONSOOM.
