Lol. I saw a guy who's a doctor try to microwave tin foil TWICE and burn himself on foil between microwaving with everyone in the room yelling at him to quit it before everyone burned to death.

There is some weird psych stuff going on. Mom's a nurse. It looks like to me (not a psych or a mental health guy) she is acting out this way to force her mom to care for everything. I would bet Mom is behind the haircut and natural color because if Chelsea is lying on her back in that collar all day, the tangles and snarls in her hair would be insane. (And if Mom is changing her able-bodied daughter's diapers, I think she is 100% in the right to dictate the haircut she will have to tend to.)

I understand the mom really thinking the daughter must genuinely be ill, because who films themselves as a sane adult screeching at their mother (presumably) not to change them because having their bodies moved for them so an elderly woman can clean up their bodily waste because that's so insane. As an adult, if I had to have my ass wiped by my mom or wife and it was that or suicide, I would have to seriously consider my options. I think I'm a little more neurotic about it than most people, but not much.

I think the mom is filming it, because it's confounding. Even if you know your daughter is insane, you can't let her sit and rot. She probably is just hoping the right person will see it and help her daughter.

This whole, "It will only be six years," arc is probably supposed to be gas in the tank for mama to keep on. "See, Mama? In six years, I won't have a wedding or career or children or hobbies to look forward to. Just death." And Mom is supposed to feel guilty for not wanting to spend her golden years caring for a woman who is pretty obviously deconditioning and wasting muscle on purpose.

Interesting thing about Miami J collars is that while they immobilize and protect areas, long term use is going to cause some real issues. Your head doesn't just sit on top of your shoulders like a saucer on a teacup. I think she's deconditioning her muscles on purpose. Show those munchies how it's done, Chelton.

I suspect Chelsea reads here, and I know there are several physicians in here. Something is undoubtedly going on. I tend to lean towards factitious disorder, but I might be wrong. I would 100% refer Chelsea to a GP I think would give her a fair shake. No one can blacklist you from receiving care, no matter what they write in Epic. However, you have to come to us over here. You might have to take a real risk and extend trust, but if you want trust and to be believed, you have to extend it. When a patient wants to bury old records and leave things out, red flag. When a patient comes to someone and says, "You know, Dr. Godzilla says I just have IBS and a lazy streak, but here are my records and I never had this followed up on," most doctors love the opportunity to get right what someone missed.

I know that if this is munching, this is way bigger than the girl who abuses her diagnosis of type 1 DM. This also could be the mother insidiously abusing power. I wouldn't be surprised.

Thanks for those vids, @GenociderSyo, knowing what it really looks like makes her faking obvious. And finding out that it’s diagnosable with physical samples and not just elimination of symptoms makes it clear.

And nothing I read, (admittedly, not much ) indicated pain meds as any sort of treatment. Seems like muscle relaxers and monoclonal antibodies are the best way.

Seems like she’s jealous of Celine Dion. She wanted to be the special one who got famous for SPS. I hope the proper treatment works for Celine and she’s back to singing soon.

Nice try, Chels, but it was already obvious from the way you went off at that poor lady that you were simply wasted and forgot states don't have mayors.

Best thing you can do now is delet and hope not too many people saw it shame we have the receipts though innit.

Agree. Gotta be hard realising you've managed to raise a helpless, narcissistic liar who would rather get trashed and manipulate you into wiping their bum than go out and graft and learn to stand on their own two feet.

I'd LOVE to find a Paige's mum-style confessional blog from Ms Lawrence the elder. I wonder what she really thinks of the ongoing Chelsea-has-her-toys-taken-away arc...
