Reminder that this is an independent videogame made by a neutral studio that literally did nothing wrong, based on a massively popular franchise that happens to be created by an author who drinks a shit ton of the woke koolaid, just not the exact flavor the troons would like, and that's enough to trigger 100% of troons on the Internet for weeks and weeks.

I don't think there is concrete proof where someone confirmed that "Rowling gets x money from game sales", but as far as I know it's clear that she has some deal with WB where they use her IP and she still owns the rights, so they cannot do anything without her consent or without paying her for it. I wanted to look it up but the first page of search results is just "WB apologizing and explaining that transphobe Rowling is not directly involved in the making of Hogwarts Legacy".

Push a tiny but extremely vocal and extremely annoying minority to international prominence, shoving their message everywhere for a few years of reduced profits, then cash in on the counterculture whiplash by marketing things as offensive to the persons of gender and get all the conservatives and boomers to buy things to own the libs.
