These people can pull facts and figures from their fat folds, but the problem is they are unable to look at anything with a critical eye, partially because their vision is typically obscured by forehead flab, and partially because they have been indoctrinated. I am displaced from this age group by a few years, but in general, I find people who are my age to share similar opinions to this fool. And you are ostracized if you even have slight differences of opinion.

The "prison industrial complex" is the antithesis of capitalism. A "PIC" system is the end result of what she wants anyway.
Capitalism as a literary device is likeable to obesity, not "weight loss" (glutton and over consumption). That means she is the literal embodiment of capitalism gone wild. Communism serves as a more fitting device as it is hard to over consume when your consumption is regulated by the state. Unless you lead the state, which is unlikely she ever will.

Thing is, those people either only have a very, very basic grasp of what they're shouting about or their simply parroting what's popular among the sjw crowd they run with. Really, they remind me of the sheep from the animal farm cartoon. It doesn't matter what's going on, they don't really know what the words they say mean, they'll just keep repeating the same shit over and over again because it's all they bothered to learn. Weight loss is losing weight. End of story. The reasons don't usually matter, but in general, people lose weight for two reasons. Health and Beauty.
What is this shit about it being the internalization of capitalism and the prison industrial complex? How is weight loss a tag to devoid someone of their identity?
Last time I checked, "internalizing" capitalism didn't make you fat...it was all the "internalizing" of too much food and not enough adequate exercise.

The current third wave feminism has come about into existence because these college students refuse to accept their own shortcomings and instead find it easier to blame it on oppression, because it's easier than accepting that there are some Behaviors that they have to change. For example, someone has an unpleasant personality that drives away people, then to them it's easier to look for any reason they can to tell themselves that they're being oppressed instead of realizing they have to change. Changing is hard, blaming everything for your own failures is easy.
About the fat acceptance thing, people do have a right to not care about their body weight, however people can't really expect others go change their expectations or judge you based on it, expecially since most judgements are subconscious. People have the right to do what they want with their body, however they can't expect society to change to meet their expectations, especially by screaming at it until it changes.
