You know something is wrong when the big, exciting news about changes to Locals is headlined by the addition of being able to block other users.

Not slowing the drain on your phone battery or adding the ability to scan videos or advance playback by double tapping. Nah, it's a block feature.
"Locals" sounds like the name of some early 00s social media site, like some shit knockoff of Classmates or Friendster that everyone long since left for Myspace. What exactly is the appeal? From Nick's constant shilling and what I've seen in this thread, the layout is like a hybrid of the worst parts of Discord and Only Fans except instead of troons grooming teens or college thots it has 40+ wine moms posting nudes while their swinger husbands simp for them.

At around the 14:00 timestamp (rumbles sucks, so it might be different once they finish processing the full video), Nick starts talking about an all-male beach in Israel. Completely oblivious to the fact that maybe some dudes want to go to a beach and not have to look at mostly naked women running around (when most of them honestly should just wear more clothes).

Anyway, the part which is intriguing is he's talking about how he'd never walk around talking to other people (15:46) to, "i'm not looking for another pair". Which, if I'm not mistaken, is straight up swinger talk.

I'd rip the video myself, but I have too much shit to do.

Sally being close enough to Nick to have his phone number, being inappropriate with Nick publicly creating a curiosity as to what is going on privately, and the possibility (however minor) of her having BPD would create an absolutely glorious harvest when something inevitably happens to cause her to split him black and she goes nuclear with what she's got on him.
My predictions for 2025 at the latest:
-Nick will be divorced
-Sally will metoo Nick

I have used Locals for a couple other shows since shortly after the service started and they have been great. Lots of good primary content for free and then a bunch of good, quality content in the premium area.

Nick has among the worst offerings I have seen on Locals. There is very little substantive discussion, unlike the other Locals groups I have been in. His coomer club is not what I would pay for. These users are effectively paying for a less-secure IRC room.

Locals: Taking other people's pictures and posting them elsewhere is wrong and we need to plan how best to sue Elissa and Claire! This is about body positivity and improving self-esteem!

As an aside, I'm actually looking forward to the "Mute" feature dropping on Nick's Locals. There's so much infighting that half of the users will have half of the other users muted and it's going to create a clusterfuck of crossed-wire communication and make Locals even more of a chaotic mess. Especially if they implement it in the way where the person you muted can still see and respond to you and you're only shooting yourself in the foot by muting them. We are going to get a lot of "What did they say? Oh yeah? Well tell them blahblahblah!" and it's going to be fucking retarded.

This made me wistfully sad. Poor guy has no fucking clue he's going to drive his career straight off a cliff for wine mom affirmation.
I detest these fucking things so much.

Of course there are funko pop collectors, it's getting worse and worse

My wife used to collect Funko Pops. I have never understood the appeal. They're ugly as fuck, consumerist trash. My theory is that they let a normie feel like they're taking part in a hobbie/media without actually having to do the work it entails.

Arttheclown either never had friends or fried his brain on porn(or both). I had friends with hot moms, and none of them were stoked about it. If it was ever mentioned, the usual reply was either "shut up" or "fuck off" or quietly trying to ignore what was said while hiding their embarrassment.

I had a friend who's mom was actually in Playboy. We relentlessly mocked him and made a stretch named after his mothers pose in highschool (it was basically upward dog) and incorporated it into every sport we could. Most of the school knew and he made us swear to never bring it up in his professional life.

>oppositional defiant disorder
Oh look, Sally suddenly has that disorder that Nick thinks he has. They're twinsies, guys!

This is classic mirroring. Between this, the constant talking about herself and her various trials and tribulations in life, and all the posts she made earlier about narcissism, maybe Sally has some Cluster B disorder herself and just projects it onto anyone who she dislikes.
She has all the BPD red flags.

And Nick thinks it's a good idea to encourage this? It's gonna blow up so spectacularly in his face.

At leas the one Lowtax imploded his life and exploded his head over was twentysomething not pushing fifty. I mean damn, get a younger model Internet sidepiece, don't slum it.

We don't really know enough about the case like the alleged damages to say whether it can be removed to federal court. Nick said nothing about that yesterday. Even so, it's clearly a frivolous case, so the idea that you need "the best" celebrity attorney makes no sense. Same with "I don't want to start a GoFundMe".

Nick has namedropped Randazza before as his preferred lawyer if he ends up having to go to court with the OLPR. If I had to guess, he's introducing Randazza to the audience in case he does, in which case he probably will make a GoFundMe.
The argument to remove to federal court would presumably be based on federal question jurisdiction, as the case implicates constitutional rights under 1A (freedom of speech, freedom of the press). I don't think diversity jurisdiction would even work because of the forum defendant rule (Nick's in Minnesota, the case is filed in Minnesota).

In any case, he said he's wiring out the retainer fee today, so it sounds like it's a pretty done deal.
He's definitely one of the best at this sort of thing, if not the best specifically at Internet 1A shit, but tbh Nick could probably handle this himself with a quick removal to federal court followed by a 12(b)(6) and whatever other immediately dispositive motions are appropriate.
Can you elaborate a little on how you think the argument would go, and how strong it'd be? I mean... it seems pretty similar to Amber Heard's situation, and in her case, the case ended up staying in Virginia state court.
There's a lot of options in-between going pro se and going with Randazza. A LOT.

I think Randazza might actually be overkill for the shit with Montagraph. I can't help by think he would have never retained Randazza for this if he wasn't considering grifting his audience into paying the bills.
I think he thinks that he's potentially setting precedent on this and he wants to get an all star team on the case just because he can.
That's why I suspect he is priming the pump for a future GoFundMe in the event he retains Randazza as result of any possible disciplinary action. Doesn't really make sense otherwise.
I don't know to what extent he's worried about financial strain over this, but it seems pretty likely actually that he'd want to get them up to speed on the details of who he is, what he does, and his overall RekietaMedia LLC business model, because there will be a ton of overlap between those two legal actions.

The impression I get is not necessarily that he desperately needs the money, it's that he wants to come up with a way to grift the case and turn it into content and revenue, so that suing him has the polar opposite of its intended effect. He wants the lawsuit to pay for itself and more. If nothing else it'll be a ton of content for his night show.

Anyone remember how he said he was gonna send a special gift to the first 5k people to sign up for locals? Did it ever leak what that was supposed to be? He said it was going to be expensive for him. I sincerely doubt it will ever happen now that he has a lolsuit to grift off of but if it does happen I hope it’s something gay
Did he even hit 5k subs? He was always a few hundred short and then i stopped watching regularly.
