Customer says McDonald’s kicked him out of store 30 minutes after he purchased food - Another Maga Country Moment

A McDonald's customer claims he was kicked out of the restaurant 30 minutes after getting his food when staff called the police.
You can watch the extremely awkward situation unfold below:

TikToker Jensen Harris (@jensenaharris) went viral on the popular video-sharing platform after posting a clip of him getting into a verbal altercation with the McDonald’s staff at a Providence, Rhode Island location. In the video, Jensen demands to know why the store has a 30-minute policy for guests that state they must leave the premises after a certain amount of time, even if they are paying customers.

Jensen claims that the chain has no such policy in place and believes he was racially discriminated against by the McDonald’s employees.

“That’s not the policy of McDonald’s,” he states as the video then cuts to screen-shared footage of a smartphone web page on the McDonald’s website, scouring for any mention of a time limit that dine-in guests have at a location. He then posts a series of text overlays, paired with a voice filter that states the restaurant doesn’t make it clear whether or not there is a 30-minute dine-in policy or if there ever was one to begin with.

The video then cuts back to another employee approaching Jensen from behind the counter. She points to the camera and tells him that he needs to delete the video. He responds that he won’t. “I’m not deleting that…don’t make me have to call up anybody for that,” he says. “That’s not right. That’s not right.”

The McDonald’s employee is on the phone with someone as Jensen continues to record. After she begins speaking into the receiver, it becomes evident that the call is about Jensen’s behavior inside of the restaurant.

He then turns the camera around, “I’m at McDonald’s right now, I already paid for my meal now they’re telling me I have to leave the McDonald’s because I’ve been here for more than 30 minutes. I’ve never seen this…”

He continues to walk around and film the interior of the restaurant. “I don’t think they should be doing this,” he says before pointing out the manager and zooming in on them with his smartphone camera. “All I’m doing is waiting, charging my phone, I’m waiting on people because I have people that actually I’m meeting for family—let’s see what happens today. Let’s see what happens. Let’s see what type of incident we get—let’s see what lawsuit we have, and I will call my attorney.”

The video then cuts to a clip of McDonald’s employees ignoring Jensen. In the text overlay, the TikToker claims that the workers refuse to provide him with the name of their manager.

Jensen then films various police officers standing outside the McDonald’s location. “4 cop cars and 5 cops later they asked me to leave and to stop recording,” he wrote in the text overlay. “McDonald’s policy clearly does not state anything regarding their so called ’30 minute policy’ nor does it state getting the police involved.”

The Daily Dot has reached out to the McDonald’s location via phone and Jensen via TikTok comment for further information.

Jensen’s video has received over 455,000 views on the platform as of Wednesday.

One viewer shared their incredulity at the “30-minute policy” at the specific location in the comments. “So they set a timer EVERYTIME someone sits down to eat,” they said.

Being a TikTok user alone should be punishable by death.
Views. I need views. Vieeewwwssss
Maybe we'll have an "eat dog shit off the sidewalk" challenge soon. I'm sure it'll work wonders.
Who'd want to hang around a McDonalds for more than 30 minutes anyway?
Other than employees? I dunno.

I like 4chan's take on McDonald's

I don't know shit about the East Coast; but some places do have time limits, and it's usually something they enforce because there are busy times where they can be completely swamped, and they need to keep customers rotating out. Like a lunchtime, weekend, or holiday rush; they don't want people loitering and taking up space for too long. That aside, could just be a policy that's strongly enforced to not show favortism, even if the inside area isn't packed. Could be a number of things, could also be racism, but I don't really care. Fast food is one of the most shit jobs to have at times, and annoying fucking customers are the majority of the problems.

First question I have is what kind of pathetic person hangs around a fast food restaurant longer than it takes to eat their meal?

That aside, I highly doubt you were kicked out for no good reason. The people working there have more important things to worry about than babysitting some rando minding their own business.

Guy is either some smelly, homeless bum stinking up the joint and pestering other patrons, or was being an incredibly loud and obnoxious douchebag, or was loitering around for far longer than 30 minutes and disrupting the employees/taking up table space for other patrons.

Other than employees? I dunno.
Yeah, I probably have thrown a "voluntarily" in there. I guess parents with kids might have about as much as say on the matter as McDonalds employees, but if you're neither of these yet you spend more than 30 minutes at Maccas, you should probably be on a list.

Homeless people come in to charge their phone, take a shower in the bathroom, watch TV.

I got fired from a Subway years ago for turning off the lights 30 minutes after close time when there was a customer in the lobby. He had been there for an hour charging his phone. Like, it doesn't take an hour to eat a six inch sandwich, get the fuck out. You aren't even eating, you are just charging your phone and using the wi-fi.

He complained to corporate that he was a travelling salesman and was staying at a hotel. He had nowhere else to sit down and eat. Nigger, name one hotel you've ever been to that doesn't have a table and chairs. Or a plug for your phone and free wi-fi. Lying ass homeless mother-fucker.

He's presenting it as being kicked out at 30 minutes, but it sure wasn't. I guess harassing fast food employees is easy engagement these days.

When McDonalds fully automates and closes all the dining areas it's going to be 100% due to niggers. Niggers are exhausting
The fast food nigger epidemic didn't exist 35 years ago, back when black people were behind the counter at these places. It also helped that every second white customer wasn't a Karen back then either.

If this even happened then the customer in question was probably being incredibly loud and disruptive and the manager came up with the first excuse he could think of to get him out the door.
I'd go into McDonald's almost every morning for a hash brown and coffee, and the place always had groups senior citizens drinking coffee that hung out there hours at a time. There's no way in hell the 30 minutes thing an actual policy.

There is no other reason to stay more than 30 minutes at McDonalds but for the Wifi.

This dude is probably some homeless cunt who has squatted multiple times and they finally told him to fuck off. Good for them.

If I had to bet he was filming customers in the background of his retarded Tiktoks and making everybody uncomfortable. They did not want to say, "Sir, you are retarded, please leave", so they tried something with a time limit and he jumped on the occasion to prove them wrong on this very specific point. He probably still deserved to be trespassed.

If you work at McDonalds, seeking unnecessary confrontation is the last thing you want to do. You don't give a fuck, you work at fucking McDonalds, you want to go home, take a shower and watch a movie.

These policies are because of loiterers. You can't have people hanging around all day taking up space. Otherwise bums would buy a coffee then proceed to piss on the seat all day while talking to imaginary dogs. Generally, if you are still eating or don't look like a trouble maker places with a time limit that aren't super busy just let you finish and leave. This guy started harassing wage slaves.

I don't go to McDonald's. But some of the Dunkin Donuts have them. But I've sat there an hour for the air conditioning a few times. But I don't look like trash.

All this talk of "punching up" from the usual suspects, it makes me wonder what flipping burgers is "up" from.

Maybe they're banking on the belief that if an employee tells them off about their bad behavior, they'll get fired? Just because a guy is a teenager making minimum wage doesn't give you the license to behave like a jackass towards him.

Go to any major city that is known to be plagued with crime or homelessness. Signs in fast food eateries specifically stating you cannot "loiter" for over 30 mins isn't new and I'm more surprised that these signs aren't more commonplace already. And yes, of course this policy is selectively enforced, but naturally niggers are going to make it a "racism" problem. Don't be a stinky homeless guy trying to use a Micky D's booth as your sleeping area, or don't harass the employees. This sort of bullshit isn't that different from these same places having a "customer only" policy when it comes to their bathrooms.
