Trigglypuff / Cora Gales / Cora Miriam / Cora Segal - Chasing the white whale!

Was she a normal kid who went off the deep end when her dad died? That's actually kind of sad.

That would be sort of odd, considering her current approach to things. You'd think someone with issues about adoring their dead father would lean towards lionizing people like hi-

Her dad was an Ivy League professor. Classical Lit with a side helping of feminism.

Ohhhhhhhh. Okay. So she's probably thirsty for the approval (and possibly dicks) of old white male university professors who are constantly preaching about the evils of white males. Makes perfect sense.

That slide is a violation of the 7 x 7 rule.

What is food policing?

Jesse needs to give it the fuck up. There is no way to spin this so that it looks like anything other than the SJW stereotype come to life and a campus near you.

This infantile, corpulent monster is the face of "Social Justice." A screaming face like the ugliest baby ever fucking born, squalling and spitting obscenities at the adults.

2) and 3) directly contradict each other.
One can also say with 2 that fat does have to do with health. While too little can be bad, so is having too much. Last thing one would want is a stroke. With 3, while health isn't some moral obligation, it is something one can control even if genetics get in the way. One can put down the cheeseburgers and sodas and substitute with something that is better. Of course, the speaker would just say that's just "healthsplaining" or some crap like that. Health is an obligation if you are the kind that loves the idea of being alive and being obese will literally threaten ones life.

FPH is totally bam from reddit so any reddit faggot who can't into /pol/ and doesn't know about KF would probably see that as the logical place to go say "look at me I know a meme irl".

Too bad the OP of that thread is such a total autist, insisting on taking shit to PMs and otherwise acting completely autistic and annoying.

lol at 'takeaways'

she can't even get through a lecture without mentioning junk food

How can there be fat liberation when the laws of physics themselves are gonna crush your giant lard mass to the ground? Liberation to do what? Thrash around your gross bingo wings and then have a heart attack?

Also "fatness has nothing to do with health."

:story:

1) So... being white or male has something to do with these lardasses being fat or not being "accepted"? Also, the notion people claim to be oppressed when there is neither anyone forcing them to be fat nor to lose weight is so ridiculous, it almost hurts.
2) and 3) directly contradict each other.
4) "Food justice" is just a buzzword and anyone that doesn't immediately understand that is an idiot. Also, "sustainable food" would be a lot more easy to achieve if there wasn't hamplanets hogging 5 times their need of calories out of stupidity and their inability to not gobble insane amounts of junk food a day.
5) I'm going out on a limb here, but I feel there is no need to "liberate" fat people from any kind of oppression. Why "radical movements" should be taking any action to help here when it's just about some numbnuts' egoism while other people all around the world genuinely suffer (for instance from starvation due to the western world obliterating the food market... D'OH!) is beyond me.

And neither of these points makes any kind of sense in general. I will never understand why people take these clowns seriously.
1) I think tying sizeism to "the patriarchy" is about how women's value is tied to their attractiveness, and since fat women do not conform to the beauty standard, they are devalued by society. This is actually true to an extent, though she's probably not even aware of the literature supporting the statements and they're just fancy buzzwords for her. But yes, I've seen research demonstrating, for example, that overweight girls got significantly less financial support from their parents for post-secondary education than thin girls. This trend was *not* seen among overweight boys. This suggests that in order to secure equivalent parental investment that male children get, girls have to take care of their looks; parental investment (attention/money/education) in female children is tied to their marriageability prospects. It is kinda shitty that your own parents value you less if you're not sexually attractive.

They're not oppressed in the sense that anyone is forcing them to be fat or lose weight, but there is real, measureable discrimination based on negative stereotypes that they face when applying for jobs, or as I mentioned, in pursuing education. It's not enough to stop someone who is determined, but it certainly can make things harder. I don't understand what capitalism and white supremacy has to do with it. Anyway, "fat acceptance" is not the way to solve these problems.

2) and 3) I think the connection there is that "it has nothing to do with health, but even if it did, health is not a moral obligation," like a 2-pronged argument. She is wrong though. Obesity is linked to many diseases and puts extra strain on the body. Denying the link to health is pretty dangerous. Also, health can be considered a moral obligation if you believe that your duty/purpose in life is to either a) reach your fullest potential or b) support and be there for the people who love you and depend on you for as long as possible. And just because something isn't entirely within one's control doesn't mean you should throw your hands up in hopelessness and not do anything about it.

As I said, the Fat Acceptance movement is not the way to go and is self-destructive. If someone really wants to do something about the obesity epidemic and sizeism, they should push for obesity to be seen as a health condition to be treated and alleviated with the help of a physician and looked upon compassionately by others, rather than a lifestyle choice and identity. They should push for cheaper fresh produce - in some places it's so expensive and unaffordable that the fake crap food is cheaper, which is why poor people tend to be fatter. And they should study something useful in college to show their value to the world, rather than "fat studies" - making their entire life and identity about their weight, which is ironically what they accuse the patriarchy of doing.

:powerlevel:Fatty fat fat fat here, and yes. She's embarrassing claiming to represent me. :powerlevel:

1) A number of brands have been moving away from this anyway due to the fact that they began to design stuff people couldn't buy due to the increasingly unrealistic expectations. Hilariously, her blaming capitalism is exactly why various companies have begun to change tack. They're moving to what the market requires. White Supremacy is because a lot of the european fashion houses are still in white majority countries and, again, playing to their markets. (most would only have to have 1 else 2 minorities on the books to hit representative quotas.)

2) Actually, it does. Even the "healthier fat people" will still have some issues and they can and do work quite hard to maintain their bodies as is.

3) While maybe not a Moral obligation, being healthy is within your own self interest. While also not directly in your control, preventative measures can and should be taken where possible, even if to maintain yourself as-is. Genetics does play a factor, but again you can try and do stuff about it to mitigate the effects. This is self responsibility.

4) Going to cheerfully admit, I have never experienced "fatophobia" in my adult life. But then again. I describe myself as portly and have an attitude to reflect that. I don't gorge on food but should eat healthier and should probably watch my portion sizes a bit better.

I don't get the food justice/sustainable food part.

I quite like the concept of the former (we should cut down on Western food waste as around 1/4 to 1/3 is wasted entirely) and the latter leads me to eating insanely tasty local produce and helps stimulate the local economy. Is she saying we shouldn't do this? Have piles of shit, rotting food made only on massive, cruel battery farms? She probably looked at collectivist farming and thought it was a good idea.

5) Combat sizeism. If you need to order a second seat on a plane, or in the cinema, then yeah. Time to put the fucking fork down.

I've encountered people in the "sustainable food" movement and these are people that bicycle nearly everywhere they go, and are for the most part are what most people would call at least nominally thin. A lot of them are pushy "health nuts" - hell, some of them are to "food activism" what PETA is to "animal rights" - and yes, they do look down upon those who do not "take care of themselves". Those of them who are more on the hippie/socialist side take the attitude that the fatties are eating way more than their fair share, and thus taking away from the Starving Children of Every Country.

That at least has more factual accuracy to it than the literally insane lie that health has nothing to do with fatness. Being fat is unhealthy. It just is. This isn't even open to debate, it's flat earth level, smoking tobacco doesn't cause lung cancer stupidity to insist otherwise, and an "educational" institution teaching otherwise raises questions of outright fraud.

And they actually believe in Personal Responsibility™, something anathema to Trigglypuff and her ilk, which is one of the things that elicits the temper tantrums from the "fat acceptance" crowd.

This lady is depressing as shit. I don't even want to call her Trigglypuff - is it confirmed her name is Cora? Lets go with that. KiA brought this up to a degree (they love Milo's cock too much to resist), but isn't highlighted enough.

Her perception of reality is fucked, and she is in need of counselling and life style changes.

There are people all over the world with weight gain issues that are out of their control - hormone and chemical imbalance, body not producing enough of a particular nutrient, et cetera. I have had the misfortune of growing up around a few people, it is not a pretty sight to watch them lose and gain weight rapidly. This is a very small number of the overall world population and has nothing to do with the trend over the last two decades of the country's problem with weight gain. Fat shaming people with weight gain problems is bottom of the barrel dumb - akin to calling a retard a retard.

Cora however is a victim to the torrent of new media and her social circles saying it is "OK to be this way". Internet's echo chamber of sites like Tumblr have not made it any easier for her to snap out of it. It's not okay - she is fucking her life up and her mental health in a big way. She has adopted a semi-SJW mentality to combat opposition and excuse the fact that it is hard work to keep one's weight, cardiovascular system and general health on a decent level. I'm sure she has a family doctor - I'll go out on a limb and say that the family doctor hasn't been strict/formal enough in telling her to start getting into shape. And this has nothing to do with morality (thanks for the powerpoint slides Pillock).

The worst of it is that she has limited her opportunities for healthy relationships with the opposite sex (she indicates she is bisexual but I doubt she gets much, if any, action from either sex). She hasn't always looked this way, and I am sure she has had happier days, but right now she looks ugly, and she tries to identify positively with it in her OKCupid profile by calling herself a "fat babe". There are fat babes, but she isn't one of them. I don't think she actually wants to be there bitching at Milo and Christina screaming "Fuck You" - but this is the mentality she has been conditioned into, and it will take her a long time to break out of it.

She goes to a decent school and has great opportunities there, but instead of making friends she goes to these panels to make enemies. To lash out at people and this isn't even her forte - she has merely been told that these people are her enemies. I'm sure if she were to distance herself from the vitriol and put some hard effort into losing weight, she would be way happier and might even find an enjoyment in looking thin and sexy in whatever she wears. Sadly, right now she is a blob of hate and despair. But I don't fault her - I just feel sorry for her.

I think she may get a lot of sex, but it's from creeps with fat fetishes, which is a pretty common fetishes and mainly one night stands that she gets from people who follow or search for BBW or such tags. I can imagine her screaming at them during sex and it's probably very unpleasant for everyone.

Somehow I doubt that. She's posted on her Facebook about how dismal her dating life is. And the fact that she doesn't bathe probably doesn't help with that.

It is amazing she spent some of her eating time even doing that, but I wonder what she is like in her classes. I bet the tantrum she has at fellow students are just as bad when they don't agree with her in class. I wonder about the reaction she has to her professors when they correct her course work. I bet it is funny but probably not for the people that have to deal with her.
