Liberators of Soledar.

Wagner thanking people for their support.

You mean occupiers? I know you're a simp for Russia, but atleast be honest about their success
I assure you I did mean to say liberators in relation to Wagner, and I will keep saying it because it's the truth. Just last year Wagner liberated Mali from French occupation, and now they're helping to liberate Ukraine from, well, you know... From you people.

Edit: Just to further drive the point how retarded that comment was, here is a short history lesson about Bakhmut.
Mention of Bakhmut dates from 1571, when the Bakhmut guard (or Bakhmut Cossacks), on contract with the government in Moscow, patrolled its southern perimeter for Tatar incursions. After Crimean Tatars destroyed forts at Tor and Maiak (1697), the leader of the Cossack Izium regiment appealed to Tsar Peter I for permission to construct the fortress of Bakhmut, which they built in 1703. Salt procurement from its lakes, contested among the Don Cossacks, the Zaporozhian Cossacks, and the Izium Cossacks, was resolved with the defeat of the Don Cossack revolt led by Kondratii Bulavin (1707–8); it became a Russian state enterprise run by the Izium regiment.
TL;DR It was an outpost founded by Cossacks sent by the Moscow government, then Peter the 1st built a fortress there, making it into a city.
...which makes NATO forces the occupiers, and Russian forces the liberators of their own city, as I have correctly noted above. Before it used to provide salt just to Russia, and now thanks to the events of the last few weeks, provides salt to the entire world.

Who could be her replacement? That will determine if Germany continues to play the mittens approach and just give token support to Ukraine, or if they finally go balls deep on the support and throw every last Leopard they have into the fray (which would finally present some sort of opposition for Russian MBT's if that happened). That is if I'm getting it right and the defence minister is the one to sign off on the transfer of military equipment to a foreign nation.
Not quite sure, it sounds like the situation there is quite chaotic. The trend does seem to be indicating that support to Ukraine is waning, so if I had to guess I'd say the next defense minister is going to want to distance themselves as much as they can from that shitshow. Unless they go full retard and push through some order-following goon who'll do whatever the Americans tell them, but that will rile up the local public even further. Either way, free entertainment.

German kiwis, any theories on who could be the replacement?

Conflicting reports. After CNN claimed to have personally seen Ukraine withdrawing, and after their Ukrainian sources confirmed there were only two paratroop brigades left fighting, now they imply that there's more, unless the "local battles" are ones against the two brigades. Source for this is one of the before-mentioned paratroop brigades.
CNN having absolutely no fucking clue about war. Color me fucking shocked.

The replacement is going to be less of a pussy about supporting Ukraine with weapons.
So they're importing a Pole to be German defense minister? Strange times we live in.

Wait, isn't CNN one of the primary sources of political analysis for the Biden administration? Uh oh, Biden bros...
As for importing a Pole to be the German defense minister, I think there was some confusion, he's just there to do the bathrooms.

For some news, there's some chatter that Poland may have given Ukraine a few Leopard tanks without the consent of the Germans. Not sure how true that is, but has the potential to get spicy. Looking for more info.

It's all fake news, Ukraine still controls Soledar and Wagner is really three dwarves in a trenchcoat, one of whom has AIDS. It's true because UkrPropTotallyNotFakeGayNews.gov.ua said so.
HQ got bombed Wagner works independently from Russian army and Chechens who fight for Russia. Multiple sources confirmed this, not just Ukraine sources. Wagner is shooting blanks much like Russian army.
HQ destroyed destroyed and isolated.
Celebrating 3 miles in 10 months as a great victory.
Wagner company did fukall last 4 month
If it wasn't for attack on Soledar Yevgeni Prigozhin would've been laughingstock just like they are now. Stopped by a river and Ukrainian guns, anti air and anti drone line behind Soledar and Ukrainians still inside Soledar.

Entertaining to see such incompetence from a private PMC.

Keep dreaming Vaknik, that three day into Kiev will happen any day now.

Let's be quite honest here, what exactly would we lose by letting the Plumbers go fight for Ukraine in a 'we got your back bro! Honest!' kinda way?

Wagner is shooting blanks much like Russian army.
Wait, Wagner and the Russians are shooting blanks? And *still* managed to slaughter thousands of Hohols, *and* take Soledar...man, these Russians are hardcore

On one hand you'd have broken toilets, but on the other hand average IQ will go up.

Here's something interesting. This ISIS member, Abdul Hakim al-Shishani, was identified as fighting in Bakhmut on the side of the Ukrainian fascists. It's pretty amazing how Ukraine managed to collect the biggest shitbags on the planet to fight for them. From sub-60 IQ Ukrainian nationalists and American mystery meat tranny mercenaries to Chechen jihadists. It's really just like that scene from Blazing Saddles. "You said rape twice." "I like rape"

reclaiming the glory it was denied by the Commies
Armored vehicles intended to fight a war against the Russians are useless fighting against the Russians in a war."
Do you ever read the things you post and think about what you're saying?
I hate to burst your bubble but sorry, you neocons aren't getting a US vs USSR larp anytime soon. A lot has changed in 30+ years, especially in the RF. Using vehicles designed for a hypothetical conflict forty years ago that never materialized, in a location, terrain and weather they were not designed to operate out of (Ukraine is not East Germany), is not going to win this war for the Saloreich.
As you were saying, it's the other side that are supposed to be Nazis, right?

Oy vey, kosher Nazis. get it right, goy!

Destroyed M777 howitzer, somewhere around Soledar. Ukraine is becoming a huge scrap heap for all our Cold War relics.

The fuel prices being lower is irrelevant for consumers. Even with a state measure in place to attenuate the impact of the war, the heating bill is more than twice as much as it used to be 1 year ago. And that's with 10C "winter" where you can keep it on minimum and still have a cozy 20-22C inside.
If we had a harsh winter with -10C like there were in the past we'd have to use 3-4 times as much gas, and the bills would be fucking insane.
If you live in a house, it's even more horrifying.
Ursula can take her "low prices" and shove them into her wrinkled vagina. They're irrelevant as long as the private corpos sell at insane prices and there's no competition to go to.
If the state lifts the price ceiling it will be lmao levels of insanity.
Agreed. for once. A lot of larpers here don't seem to get how energy bills in the EU work (have ext family in several countries, west and east Europe). They're still getting gouged like never before. When they show the actual bills they pay, it's absolutely insane and would cause a firestorm in the US.

Take your energy bill now and suddenly double, triple, hell maybe even quadruple it. So all the cope about "Hah, gas is actually cheaper now in the EU" is factually wrong when it comes to the end user still getting bent over and assfucked dry.

A few interesting things from the Ilyich Factory (Mariupol) are British, Canadian, and American manuals, and of course the symbols of the Third Reich among the flags of Ukraine.

The war trophy is the book "the history of Ukrainian feminism", besides the fact that it amuses me that in any situation they blame the Soviets for anything and everything, it is an unintentionally based.

photo_2023-01-14_02-26-25.jpg

You know, okay, give the victory to the Ukrainian woman with wings; just don't let the American participant get anywhere near the trophy.

I don't believe they ever wanted Keef and its Banderites, they wanted a swift end to this clusterfuck, but here we are. Bit premature to discuss occupation, if it even happens
They wanted to topple the capital and occupy it. Everyone thought they would. Including everyone in this thread. Biden offered their president a lift. No one thought Ukraine would last a month. Whether or not Russia would install a puppet government we’ll never know because they underperformed. It’s embarrassing for the supposed second most powerful military to slowly grind it out against a fifth rate power aided by trannies.

Let me rephrase it, I dislike the hypocrisy of crying over American adventurism while cheerleading for Russian and/or Chinese expansionism.

Did mommy run out of salt and come back with this:
View attachment 4259302
Go easy on those poor guys, this has been a pretty awful week to be a tranny faggot ukranian supporter
They have been cucked out of:

• Electricity
• Thousands of khokhols lives
• A new massive russian mobilization that was supposed to happen 3 weeks ago
• Leopards and abrahams tanks
• A totally non important territory that was defended by Zelenski's finest

And now, on top of that, Ukraine's fiercest soldier is taking a break from the propaganda war on twitter *sigh*

Let me rephrase: War is fluid, and tactics and strategy change and adapt. If you believe you have access to the legit plans of the Russian Federation regarding this operation, please share them with us.

Because no one outside the Russian MoD (and/or glowies) know. Opinions change as more information becomes available. and verified. Also, you are free to dislike my opinion, just as I am free to disagree with you.
Citation fucking needed. By Desert Storm it was only a 10 year old weapon system, AT THE MOST. The variants were as recent as the 1989/1990 upgrades.

Because the Bradleys did the fucking job.
For the purpose for which it was intended in East Germany. No one thought so at the time, but as we have learned over the past 30+ years the USSR was on defensive mode, not offensive, so it would have been a completely different war than the one the US planned for. This is best addressed in its own thread though.

The week or so of this thread where the mods actually moved the Tard fighting posts into their own threads were the good days and I wish they came back.

Anyways, imagine being a Wagnerite, finally happy that this bloodshed of a battle appears to finally be over, and then getting blown up in your sleep in your barracks.

T90s but a Russian T72 or even a T64 is better than a Bradley,'
LOL. Oh no, a MBT is better than an LAV, which just happens to pack a TOW-II, which blows right through their armor.
  • a Bradley
  • In an environment and terrain it's unsuited for
That it was completely designed for.
  • Not to mention the role it was designed for
That it was designed for, depending on the variant.
  • On the steppes/town, under artillery and constant shelling, exactly what benefit does this Infantry Fighting Vehicle bring to the table?
Gee, what could a Bradley bring to an area full of shrapnel?

Don't know, genius.
  • Answer: not much.
Everything
Ukraine understands this (while you do not) and are lobbying for Abrams tanks, which, while better than Bradleys, are also unsuitable for this type of warfare. You see, all these were conceived to roll over the Fulda Gap to meet the USSR in a WW3 scenario in the 1980s, not to fight the Russian Federation in the Ukraine over salo rights, in the 21st century, because sane and normal people understood starting a war with a nuclear power (with the most nukes, mind you) was stupid, so no one was ever tasked with designing any tanks/vehicles/artillery for such an unthinkable event.
I wouldn't trust the Yukes with a fucking Abrams.

See, the were CONCEIVED to fight in the desert, the jungle, the steppes, the forest.

They were designed to fight what we THOUGHT was the USSR's power, not the Russian fucking trashfire of the 21st Century.

And yes, the Bradley WAS designed in case of 'such an unthinkable event' because the event was totally plausible.

Holy shit, I can't believe you're claiming that it was obsolete by Desert Storm, that it wasn't designed for the area it was designed for (The Yuke Bloodfields are not that different than the Fulda Gap in the 80's), that it isn't designed for the tasks it was designed for.

Just say you don't think it'll do any good and leave it at that and quit making claims that are wrong.

"The Bradley, widely deployed in 1984, upgraded in 88 and 89 and 90, was osbolete for a war in 1991! It was designed to fight from the Fulda Gap to Moscow and in Ukraine and Chechz and Yugo, but it won't be able to fight in Ukraine! What does it bring for advantage in an area with shrapnel, it only has armor."

Holy shit, you're wrong on so many levels.

For the purpose for which it was intended in East Germany. No one thought so at the time, but as we have learned over the past 30+ years the USSR was on defensive mode, not offensive, so it would have been a completely different war than the one the US planned for. This is best addressed in its own thread though.
No, it wasn't.

You're looking with hind sight with "Oh, they were defensive!" Well, guess what, the Bradley would have ran over their defensive bullshit too.

It's ALWAYS a different war than you plan for. That's why it's called war and they're called the enemy.

For fuck's sake, they did upgrades in like March of 1990 to the fucking thing, IN THE FULDA GAP.

It wasn't even close to obsolete at the time.

(Edited out being unnecessarily confrontational because Feline Supremacist isn't what actually pissed me off and I shouldn't be an asshole and take it out on him)

EDIT: FUck it, I'm autistic when it comes to this shit.

The Bradley ultimately was designed to fight in a wide variety of terrains and conditions. Urban warfare was a serious focus for it, and its possible success resulted in the MOUT simulators being rebuilt to accommodate the BIFV. It was tested over and over again to make sure it could handle Eastern European mud and cold, to the point where the heating systems were redesigned and upgraded at one point. It was designed, not to take on tanks, although it could if it got the drop on the tank with the TOW-II's, but to spot them and run for it in the scout configuration. It was designed to work with armor and close air support and infantry support.

It was designed to push through the Fulda Gap, as well as down on the southern plains, push into all of Eastern Europe and put the USSR on defensive footing, since the METL at the time stressed that Western Germany was a lost cause, so let the REMFs fight in WEstern Germany and everyone else pushes through into the USSR. The M113 (a rolling deathtrap) was rapidly replaced, with many units not getting the BIFV until 86-89 due to training and logistical concerns.

They can operate well in the mud (I've seen one sunk 2 feet into the mud at Graf and still keep moving forward) as well as high speed maneuvering.

The IEDs that took it out in Iraq 2 Goat Fucker Boogaloo were often 6-12 artillery shells fused together, which would wreck about anything. The EFP's were rarer, but still effective (this led to the design of the ugly ass MRAP). While proponents of the Stryker like to claim the BIFV was obsolete by 2003, the Stryker was an untested weapon platform that has a dodgy history and an even more dodgy pedigree in combat.

When you strap on things like the full scout version and the anti-air version, you've got a nice little package.

But saying it was obsolete, for it's job, that it was designed for, in less than 10 years after it came out, isn't talking about reality.

Don't forget, it got kills against Russian tanks during the Gulf War, including cannon kills.

The biggest problem the BIFV will face is that it will be crewed by Slav potato goblins who think they know everything already and will undoutably ignore their training and treat it like a pickup truck with a rifle strapped to the hood who didn't pay any attention to training and will drive it straight into ambushes or try to faceroll tanks with an unloaded TOW launcher.

Is it a perfect vehicle? No. Is it a great vehicle? No. It's a good vehicle. It does what it's supposed to do the majority of the time, and that's all you can really ask for.

Kiked wording aside, China and Russia don't invade nations on the other side of the world in order to forcefully evangelize democracy. They also don't try to control politics in nations that have nothing to do with them.
yeah, instead of sandboxes on the other side of the world, they invade their own neighbors instead lol

In general regards to the Bradley spewing from multiple people, the Bradley isn't a bad IFV, but it's not a Wunderwaffe that's going to completely change strategic outcomes. For some reason people think something needs to be either be the best vehicle of its class ever or it's a useless piece of shit. It also doesn't help the Bradley has a comedy movie made about it based of a single person's memoir and people take it like its gospel.

The Bradley is a decent IFV, decent at transporting troops in an armored vehicle and unloading those troops and still being able to stick around and provide fire support for those troops, but that alone doesn't make it a war winner and it certainly has it's issues like it being fucked if it's hit by an RPG-29 or other more modern RPGs (although that's basically intrinsic to anything that's not a MBT) and being bulky for an IFV.
