Talk about a smarmy start! Fake voice, deliberately slowed tone with a hint, (more than a hint), of smug & as an added bonus, (Wait! There's more!), an insufferable note of false superiority.

It's not her idiotic insistence on "privacy" that creates wild speculation, it's her own lack of credibility & her lies before she left for Kuwait. Example & I'm paraphrasing - Salah had a nice "house" & a great job... when the truth is, he had a rock bottom basic flat & a sales job where obviously he was just getting by - if his chosen home alone was anything to go by. His sending progress photos to her before she came over, emphasizes the lies on her part.

Yup, she reflected a lot to the point where she's really annoyed & is simply going to continue to be a smug, lying bitch. Or she's gonna block - so there!

She's got one thing right - some redemption, a LOT of redemption is needed.

Salah's family situation has no bearing on his chosen housing. Had she initially said he had a one room flat, no one would have said anything. It was her LIES about it that generated a ton of critique.

Turning on a camera, sitting in front of it, and being smug, smarmy and hateful is not “content.”

In fact, her statements were just a reaction to Alaa showing how poorly they lived. This was after bragging in Canada that she’d be living in a home owned by a Kuwaití businessman. Then she mentions her couples channel twice, while saying she’s going to act like a YouTuber and remind people to subscribe. They won’t. The story of loving feral cats in her old slum was all about trying to portray herself as a cat lover, which we know she isn’t.

She’s in another slum, which she also loves and has made memories in- except those fucking kids playing in the hall. We know by that small moment of disdain what the real story is on these places she stayed. She was never happy in that shoebox and wanted a bigger place, but without marriage certificate and money she was stuck in a similar place.

YouTube is getting ready to cancel a lot of channels like this. The days of “broadcast yourself” are over. Professional content is what they want and only those who realize that will survive. She’d better hope her lazy husband’s perfume scam takes off, because her YouTube dollar is going to disappear. Many YouTubers are diversifying by appearing on multiple platforms but Chantel has insisted on staying in her hugbox, and when that’s gone and she starts on Twitch she’ll only have a audience with people who hate her.

A couples channel is impossible done by people who live thousands of miles apart and who insist on privacy. Going to a shitty museum and fatting around is not the type of content youtube wants, and it’s not the type that people are interested in.

She thinks she’ll go back and forth but a long flight is difficult for even the youngest and healthiest of us and I don’t think she’s going to want to do it again anytime soon. So Salah, kiss your “wife” and dreams of Canada and YouTube fame good-bye. She’s never coming back, she is not capable physically or financially, and you are never getting there.

• The Salmia Apartment was Salah’s and his family’s and he stayed to use it as a batchelor pad.
• I just want to live my life with no speculation and negativity. It will be deleted.

For several weeks, Chantal obeyed Salah’s every instruction. She even chose the hijab for herself. She deleted hundreds of videos, based off what he said wasn’t gonna fly with Kuwaiti authorities (on the very rare chance they checked). She went to bed when he deemed her sleepy. She said she loved him, bought a ticket to Kuwait, promised him a thriving couples channel, internet fame and several thousand USD.
Best of all, she swore she was going to bring him to Canada,

Salah didn’t even tell his friends and family that she was coming, until she was practically there. While some might attribute that to her foul reputation and looks, he didn’t have to show her picture. But the truth is, he had no idea if she was actually going to show up.

But she did! She kept her word and appeared in Kuwait, larger than he’d ever dreamed but complete with, what, 4-5k thousand dollars, the couples channel, the new phone, the clothes. She came through, and she’s handed over her money to him just like she’d claimed.

And I suspect that’s why he’s sticking by her, despite his life’s destruction in her wake. He bet it all on Foodie fucking Beauty, and he’s hoping she comes through one more time - after all, she loves him.

Every couple of pages, some Kiwis are very eager to label Salah as a tard when it's really more likely to be what you said.

For the most part, we're posting here from the comfort of whatever countries we're in, relatively safe and secure in the fact that we're citizens or legal residents of wherever we are. Not so for Salah. One wrong move, and it's back to being cannon fodder for al-Assad. And let's be honest, where he is now isn't that much of an upgrade, too. It's just a convenient country to hide in until something better comes along. Otherwise, it looks like a dump. And then he likely heard from friends and acquaintances who did successfully move to Canada about how much better it is than Kuwait.

It's likely none of us has ever been put in a similar situation that makes us that much more desperate to move. Doesn't help that Salah doesn't have much in the way of skills for a company in a first-world country to hire him and pay for his relocation. He's also not a looker who can hoodwink people on face value alone, no matter how hard Chins tries to force people to think so. We know he's dumb for hitching his wagons to Chins, he probably also knows he is, but unfortunately for him, he's in a position where he likely feels the need to do dumb stuff and we're not. He's also bolstered by the idea that Chins loves him enough for her to push paperwork so he can move abroad. Hell, he gets paid by Chins to stick around and she even made the trip to be there, so surely, in his mind, that must be true.

I honestly dislike sticking up for Salah. His eyebrow raise is annoying as fuck, he did Alaa dirty by allowing Chins to malign Alaa's wife who was nothing but nice to Chins, and he's boring as hell. I just feel that it's reductive to just label him as a tard simply on the basis of sticking with Chins (and for some, his love for Jim Carrey).
