Being a huge Halo fan, Phil's "playthrough" of Halo 5 really chapped my ass, especially all the shit-talking he did during the credits. This one's a doozy.

I'm not even a big fan of Halo and I really enjoyed 5 and could sperg endlessly about what Phil does wrong in this game. Most of the game was pretty straightforward even on heroic (though the Wardens are no joke on that difficulty), let alone normal. There are some really basic things he fucked up.

For example: Turret enemies should always be prioritised, and you should try to headshot the enemies controlling the turrets so that you can go up and use them attached, or otherwise break it off and have a full 30 shots. It's a free third weapon, the only downside is how it limits your mobility. Or how he doesn't aim for the weak spots with Promethian soldiers/Knights. Or how he never gives his AI support better weapons/hits B to get his AI to come over to him when he's downed. I can't stress how bad you have to be to get killed on normal in campaign so many times. You can get away with a lot of shit (like non-assassination melee kills) in normal.

That's obviously not even touching on the super obvious, like how you're supposed to use tactics and not rush ahead and trigger every single wave of enemies simultaneously.


I'm incredibly bemused that he gave his chicken hamburger a 4.25/5 for DSP Tries It. You're reviewing a mass-produced chicken hamburger from Dairy Queen, Phil. Giving quarter scores is heinously overthinking things. Only DSP cares enough to give .25 ratings for fast food.

DipShitPhil can't figure out that using the rocket launcher in close combat is not recommended as you take damage from the explosion.

But no, he's only happy when he has a power weapon and can one shot enemies. And just as an FYI, "gauss" as in the "Gauss Cannon" rhymes with "house".

It can be fun to tank around like a nut in kamikaze mode, spam grenades and rockets and just create chaos with borderline grief-y play like that, but doing that while complaining that you get "one shotted" (after you blew off your own health by shooting rockets at close range) is just retarded. If you're going to do that you should learn to enjoy dying because it's going to happen a lot.

Whenever Phil plays a game I love, I've learned to just ignore his bitter comments insulting the game and it's fans. After MGS3 I had to or I probably would've given myself a hernia cringing every time he got mad at the game for his own bullshit.
