His PS+ expired and he didn't want to spend $10 (that he'd instantly make back in tips from some dent anyway) to renew it for the month so he could play.
And the best part is because his precious autism schedule was violated he refused to play any other game and decided on a 2 hour Q&A.

Got a lot of cathcing up to do over the next few days so sorry if I respond to shit or bring up old news. I still really hate how Phil describes his streams as a business. Do you think in business school he was taught that it is crucial for a business owner to stress how poorly they are doing financially? I don't eat out as much as Phil does but the managers of whatever restaurant I dine in don't come up to me and explain how times are tough and it would be super helpful if I ordered a couple super expensive meals they offer. When I go grocery shopping a clerk doesn't interrupt me looking for groceries every ten minutes with a spiel about sales numbers. The theater manager doesn't hold everyone up in the movies with a 30 minute prefilm podcast about buying more popcorn.
It's amazing how he has always had this talent to make any menial task sound arduous and challenging.

His loud begging (tweets and community tabs) have dissappeared. But now we have the classic sneak begging like dangling hats in front of his little dent cult or saying "guys we are just a few bucks away from the hat goal" Heck you could say he is enticing his viewers to tip by showing his hat off (he didn't' reach tier 2 in his Q&A)
It might be just me but it seems as if he got high on the christmas and new years tip amounts and thought it would be the same for the coming weeks. He is that retarded
Phil calling his streams his business is at best half right. If he were clever (yeah I know) it would be a part of his business that pulls people in to buy his merch (whoops that's dead haha) or visit his Youtube channel (oh wait it's the same shit as his streams minus the unrecorded ranting / sneakl begging) or draw people to his forum (oh wait that is dead too). I n essence his business degree is wasted on him. Heck I would go so far that he never understood how real businesses work. If he could make the same money with a camcorder in 2023 I bet he would do it ASAP.

A beautiful example of why I despise DSP and consider him scum.
In this 1 minute clip right here he says that his detractors are upset because for the "last couple of months" he stopped doing "dumb e-begging", and he goes on to add that it's a good (pahsitive) thing that he doesn't do it anymore, refering to this behaviour as "act like an idiot". You'd be forgiven if you didn't quite catch all of that as Phil is also treating us to a sick beat of knee slaps.
Now, the thing that ticks me off is that this isn't the first time Phil's had a moment where he goes "gais, I've been totally in the wrong and people were rightfully criticising me but now I've changed for the better and I don't do this bad behaviour anymore" but just like all the other times before Phil doesn't (do his due dilligence) apologize to people but instead somehow acts like the bad behaviour was the trolls' fault all along.
Phil is being toxic for years? "Gais I've changed I don't do that anymore I'm pahsitive now I don't go by king of hate anymore" but notice how he never says sorry to the hundreds of detractors that were calling him out.
"Gais we have to lower the members goal for the Christmas stream because it would be ridiculous for me to expect getting back to 1K"
So what about everyone who was telling you you should lower it, Phail? There were quite a lot of them. Maybe you should adress them??? Say sorry for banning people in your chat who were suggesting you do that? You saying sorry now means that they were right so maybe right the wrongs you were doing all the way? Forget about present Phil screwing over future Phil, he's also totally willing to use past Phil as a scapegoat.
To end this clip he says "I don't have time for your nonsense" and "not taking the bait anymore" describing his detractors (aka the people who would complain about his rampant begging) as "completely meaningless" before taking a sip of gin. Now normally, I'd give him the benfit of doubt and say he meant that as a follow up to what he mentioned right before about people trying to bait him to talk about the bankruptcy, however, given his track record, it is entirely possible that this mongoloid considers e-begging troll nonsense that the detractora somehow manipulated him into doing and it's all their fault for tricking innocent poor Fillup to beg.
By the way, fuck you, Fillup I don't believe you stopped e-begging. You still do it on stream and I also think you do it behind the scenes more than ever now. Lying piece of shit...

Loud begging is still there on the streams themselves. He held his tongue for a bit after he wanted Sir Moist to interview him. However, as soon as Sir Moist said that it's "not that deep, bro" Phail pretty much started going mask-off again, completely taking it off last month after he's implied that Sir Moist is essentially no different from a mentally ill detractor (namely he said that Critikal has zero self awareness). Mid-stream beg tweets are the only thing he's phased out for now, but I predict their triumphant return in a few months.
Don't forget it was this week when the post-One Piece Odyssey demo begging session (and subsequent Daily Crap) occurred. He probably said any variation of the phrase "I need your buy-in" twice per minute on both of those. I mean true on a scale from 1 to Scorn it wasn't as bad as the Scorn post-stream megabeg but it's still a solid 8.62 in terms of begging and sheer scumfuckery.
