"Globeclopping
Though bronies are seemingly located mostly in the UK and in the United States, based on where the major conventions are held (BUCK and Bronycon respectively) the highest concentration of Pornhub bronies appear to be located in Belarus, in that MLP porn is 462% more likely to be searched for there than the rest of the world. Overall it appears that Central and Eastern Europe are where these types of searches are the most popular, with countries like Russia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic all proving to be 427%, 326% and 179% more likely to perform MLP searches than elsewhere in the world."

Did anyone here forgot about their very own Fetish Fuel wiki?

We made ourselves forget.

In their defense tvtropes were one of the things that made me interested in history
you're sounding a bit like the self-proclaimed historian on Deviantart who couldn't feel sympathy for a photo of rounded-up Jews until someone photoshopped Raindow Dash into it

Why would you want to even try to reduce the complexities of real life to a bunch of TV clichés anyway?
i imagine it's so that everyone on the site can have a collective "haha i understand how this ties into each other" moment, because ya know, that faint glimmer of intellectual superiority over someone who Doesn't Get It should always take precedent over real-world nuance

(barely related, but i'm sure the site's owners appreciate the additional traffic that happens when someone clicks on a trope that's linked in some other page, even if it is, for example, Funny Aneurysm Moment on the Reagan page)

Well, back on the Game of Thrones sperging...

I'm pretty sure the "viewers" who saw it as feministic are also TVTropers...Which makes them look pretty dumb considering killing the lord of a house has very negative connotations in this show and killing family members is also looked on terribly.

But, you know, feminism!

Hi! New member here!

I found one of the more revolting pages on post Pedo Purge TV Tropes. THE AUTHOR APPEAL PAGE!

Seriously, Its awful. It describes in lurid detail all the Auto Pandering creepy authors fetishes.

It is impossible to read the work of Gilbert Hernandez and not get the impression that he has a massive thing for women with gigantic breasts and hips and tiny waists.
  • Jaime Hernandez has been accused of fetishising lesbians, based on the number of self-identified lesbian characters in his Love and Rockets work and the frequency with which they turn out to occasionally shag men as well. When the accusations started getting nasty, he suddenly revealed that two long-established male buddy characters sometimes blew each other, making it more of an equal-opportunity Everyone Is Bi.
    • Unless, it was an attempt at an Author's Saving Throw, since it had never been hinted at until he came under fire.
    • Frank Herbert's later books in the Dune series fall prey to this trope. At first the story is about political intrigue and cultural clashing... and then by the fifth book or so it all collapses into what are BDSM dominatrixes taking over the galaxy through their powers of orgasm.

It does have some cute and innocent stuff like

  • Mitsuru Adachi really really really likes baseball, if the fact that nearly every series he's worked on in his illustrious career revolves around it is any indication.
But that's it.

@RawksYourSocks, let me be the first to say welcome. Hope you're having a good time so far.

Also, the author appeal (which I'm just now looking at) page just goes to show you that fetishes aren't just internet exclusive. It's astonishing just how many people in media have them (though Tarantino was a given). Though some of it's merely fucking stupid assumptions (thinking the Star Wars EU has a Luke Skywalker fetish, for starters) or just pointing out the obvious (like how JJBA has plenty of characters named after musicians/songs).
