So I haven't heard anything about Turkey Tom since he was running around calling pyro a pedophile years ago, I wanted to check out his chat replay but his version of the stream is gone as mentioned.

I thought it was a good stream, I don't know what people expected a 20 year old to say when faced with a more long-lived view of the world, he's obviously not going to be able to relate to it yet (the dude wasn't even alive for 9/11). It'll expose some zoomers to a perspective they aren't used to and that's a good thing with how hard it is to get people to leave their comfort zones these days

Also trying to figure out what null was actually trying to do with that wood on the crafting screen was a nice logic puzzle to reverse engineer.

His shtick is essentially cleaning up KF posts and presenting them in a format that younger normies will tolerate. Tom seems young and not yet wizened by the troon menace, which is why he can sit there and unironically correct Null that it's "her prostate orgasms!!!!" But there's no evidence yet that he's as pathetic as someone like Destiny, who will continue sucking tranny dick even as they try to destroy his life. When Keffals gets Tom banned from Youtube but he still demands people gender Lucas' prostate correctly, then I'll consider him a lost cause.

I associate BMWs and Audis more with Persians or Slavs around here. Especially when the resale tanks just as they go out of warranty. Those groups scoop them up for cheap and just drive them around all totally fucking clapped out because they could only afford the price of admission, no money left for anything from the concession stand.

I tend to associate BMWs, Audis etc with Lebs, Wogs and old Krauts. Pajeets around here tend to go for Toyotas, Hyundais and Suzukis; the last one being because Maruti Suzuki is huge in India. TT was trying to flex about his M3 but went about it in a very clumsy manner.

Speaking of which, I hope Uncle Null or someone else like that has made it clear to TT that his current income is likely to be short term in nature, and that he should be putting as much of it away as possible for when the YT shekels dry up and he has to find a real job. He said he makes at least $20k a month. I believe he said that figure was an "off month" too, he was sort of stunting on Null at the moment and I don't remember the wording exactly. I'm guessing he makes at least $120k a year pretty regularly from YouTube.

I thought it was funny when Null advised him to get a fiduciary and Tom came back with something like "yeah, someone in my family invests for me". I hope that kid isn't getting embezzled from by his uncle lol

I think you should appreciate the large risk he's taking by even associating with Josh at all. Doubtlessly, he will lose income from this. He will lose clout, he will lose friends, he will lose opportunities. But he's doing it anyway because he genuinely believes in the principle of free speech. Considering that he also shouts this belief from the top of his lungs at every conceivable opportunity while openly showing us his face and name, he's ten times the man any of you are. I doubt most of you have the courage to be open about your unpopular beliefs with your friends and family. I'm not judging, because I don't have it either. But when criticizing someone, you need to put your money where your mouth is if you want to avoid looking like massively retarded hypocritical faggots.

They play Minecraft for the same reason Walmart sells Minecraft clothes—children are a premier consumer base from which to make money.

The saddest part is the game I played in alpha with my autistic friends a decade ago because we enjoyed exploring and playing in a barebones sandbox is now a AAA title oriented for children with a bunch of random sparkly bullshit to keep their attention. I remember people putting Minecraft alongside games like Dwarf Fortress as the closest video games have gotten to "art." Now I would laugh at someone saying that—like if Van Gogh went from painting canvases to illustrating mass produced placemats for children at chain restaurants.

I enjoyed the interview, but it was all because of Null. His rants were in rare form, and very entertaining, and it was also interesting seeing how Tom reacted to a lot of it, in that for many of Null's rants, Tom didn't know how to react. He's a young kid and obviously he doesn't have the life experience of Null, hell, he doesn't have the life experience of most people on this forum. He is an optimist, and he gives people the benefit of the doubt, far more than he should. But when I was his age I did the same shit, my personal politics weren't the same, obviously I wasn't a rich and famous commentary Youtuber, but the feel is the same. Quite simply there's a lot in life that Tom has yet to experience, regardless of his career. It's touched on by Null in the interview but Tom was brought up almost entirely in the corporate sanitized Internet and that's had a big effect on how he views the world, as it does everyone his age. There's a lot of things that Null has personally experienced and a looooooot of shit he's had to eat and that he talks about that Tom just has or had no idea about, and his reactions show that the quite frankly, deluge of information Null spergs out at him, is overwhelming.

There were a couple times where Null was in the middle of a really good rant and Tom just interrupts it to ask a question and totally kills the flow. Knowing when to step in and when not to is very important if he wants to interview more people, but again he's young and inexperienced so I'm not going to be too hard on him. Tom, if you're reading this, just keep at it and you'll get better. If Tom is going to post the interview anywhere I expect it to be edited pretty heavily. Not just to cut out some of Null's rantings that our old pal Susan might not like, but also to make it more coherent and structured sounding, because I felt it rambled pretty much the whole time.

Overall it really does mean a lot that a Youtuber with any type of following like Tom would even reach out to Null in the first place, as I'm sure he's intimately familiar with all the shit Null has to deal with and all the shit anyone associated with him has to deal with too. Tom very clearly is going to do whatever it takes to keep his job and channel, because he has things to lose still, but interviewing Null at all was very brave of him. Is he the biggest channel to do it so far?

In closing, this is all I could think about the entire 3 hour stream.

I think people are being a little too harsh on him. The pronoun shit is just the rules of the game. When I was 19 I knew nothing. Tom is smarter than most people his age.

The one thing he did that made me eyeroll a couple times was try to humblebrag about money, having a girlfriend, and having a car. These are all things to be proud of and IMO he was trying to impress me. I had a friend that tried to humblebrag about his stupid car all the time so it didn't bother me as it did a lot of people.

I chalked both of these things up to him being young. The only part that irritated me was how hard he tried to stay neutral with his explanation of just "doing it for the content". Like if he disagrees that's fine but don't sit there and pretend you don't have an opinion.

Overall I enjoyed the different dynamic highlighting just how mind raped the younger generations are. He seems like a good kid and I hope he thinks on some of the things you said.

The number of times the ambient, melancholy Minecraft music would come in while Null was in the middle of one of his passionate rants was too perfect; I almost thought it was scripted. Particularly when Null was recounting the rise & fall of 8chan; that music fading in was bittersweet. I certainly hope that Turkey Tom will take some of Null's good advice to heart if nothing else, and if for whatever reason there are Turkey Tom fans reading this: please lurk for a few weeks before making an account. You'll get the hang of how things work around here.
