He would unironically gain more respect from me (not really because it’s Phil lul) if he just went ahead and owned up to the gacha shit and started streaming it for his dent brigade. If he even made a half-assed attempt to lean into the gin/WWE Champions memes and play it off, it would at least be less cringy (on the surface at least) than “my detractors say stupid shit and have stupid memes about me drinking gin and mobul games, but I did nothing wrong suck the shit out of my ass ACK ACK ACK” levels of denial.

But no. It’s just more grift and scamming for “positivity”, while steering away from the skid that his life has become instead of embracing his own failure and using it to his advantage. But this is Phil we’re talking about. However, a while ago once these videos started catching on with his retards, he had to make a disclaimer that it wasn’t sustainable for him to do if he becomes inundated with custom videos. So yeah, Phil realized he didn’t want to work.

He also makes sure to remind his audience constantly that he has custom videos to make, like it’s some sort of backbreaking work that doesn’t involve him farting into a chair for half an hour.

Nah the patreon reacts are better than the average stream for once. He does 30 minutes for $50, meanwhile his stream is 3 hours with a tips goal of $150. Assuming he hit the 150 goal every stream he would still make double that by doing reacts for that same time period.

Howie says something about Phil watching too much WWE and while this comment was more directed at drama I can see this being a part of it. Phil thinks his life is a WWE storyline and he has to cut constant promos (= prestreams and midstream begments) to own the trolls and get over with the dents.
