Greta Gustava and Nina Chabual defrauded a charity by stealing from it for luxuries. They spent $340,000 on travel expenses, gifts for themselves, expensive dinners and outings. They did this while personally showing up to harass my mother at her home and to try and deplatform my website (which echoes through today - they were thieves in a real moral sense, and were friends with Liz Fong-Jones, a Google employee who harasses the families of CEOs who run T1 ISPs to try and remove the Kiwi Farms from the Internet to this day). I am totally and completely morally justified in doing anything to these people, and my restraint in sticking to legal mechanisms is a testament to how awesome & handsome & based I am.

This guild financed a lawsuit which Patrick lost and is now on the hook for. There are avenues for enforcement that are legal. Harassing the guild by filing bogus reports to Satan's manifestation on this Earth (the US Federal Government) is pathetic. The guild exists to represent the legal interests of scifi authors, and just because they lost their lawsuit does not mean they're suddenly not a charity (in the legal definition). I am sure their books will come up clean, because Fatrick isn't going to gay bars to eat lobster dinner in New Orleans on their dime.

If it’s not him making these calls, it’s not necessarily anyone from either forum. He just acts like such a prick that it could be anyone. I think some perspective is necessary with regard to the LOLsuit and whether or not the SFWA committed any sort of "tax fraud" with regard to it.

In short, they didn't.

Recall that this was a "defamation" and "tortuous interference" action premised on the idea that "fraudulent" reviews about his books were published to, among others, Goodreads and Amazon. Also recall that misuse of reviews sections of websites to paint a business or a person in a negative light for things other than business-related misconduct can give legs to what would be an otherwise frivolous defamation action.

Forget, for a moment, that Fatty is an inflammatory public figure who has made hundreds - if not thousands - of stupid, insensitive, despicable comments on numerous subjects, is a fat 1.78 GPA-having loser with bitch tits and who was so inadequate as a spouse that his former wife plopped down on another man's lap right in front of him and allowed him to carry her away right out of Fatty's life along with their daughter - and that P@t was so weak that he did absolutely nothing about it but whine online.

All of that was irrelevant to and had no legitimate place in any review of his published works.

It's no different from the guy you dislike because your wife cheated with him. Say he's a contractor; you can't publish a false online review saying you hired him, he ripped you off, did shoddy work and shags his dog too.

Had those negative reviews stuck to opining that he's a lousy writer who doesn't know the difference between being "eclectic" and the plane of the elliptic and otherwise criticizing his - in my opinion - very lousy writing, the SFWA probably doesn't find any value in funding the suit.

Also remember that the suit becoming a "target Owen A.'s forums" endeavor was due to Fatty pushing the ridiculous idea that the reviews were all published due to a "conspiracy" between Quasi and all the commenters in a certain thread on that site and that, for reasons inexplicable, the attorneys working on his behalf ran with.

In retrospect, they surely chose a very poor candidate to back with their legal fund, but weren't guilty of any malfeasance or anything that reeks of "tax fraud".
