Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

It's so bizarre to me how a silly book about magic and wizards has spent the last 25 years of its life in constant controversy. Except this time around, the controversy isn't even based around the actual contents of the books or movies, it's based on things the creator said on the internet, entirely detached from the books.

Somehow, trannies found a way to be more deranged than conservative soccer moms in the 2000s. Somehow they found a stupider reason to ban people from reading Harry Potter, and this time it's not just children, they're trying to dictate what grown adults can watch and buy. This time they have popular support from celebrities and media, unlike those aforementioned conservative soccer moms.

And it's not even like she went on some Kanye-tier rant saying that she wants transgender people slaughtered, she just said that biological sex is real and women's spaces shouldn't be encroached upon by people who aren't biological women, and that was enough for even the people she made famous through the films to turn their backs on her out of fear of internet backlash.

Nice work, OP. Rowling Derangement Syndrome is the perfect encapsulation of how """the left""" (Twitter troons) loves to eat itself over retarded shit. You've got this nice older lady who wrote a universally loved book series, literally her only disagreements with the lib/progressive line are extremely reasonable ones about troonsanity, and the troons are literally constantly threatening her over that, while their dipshit supporters wring their hands and write opinion pieces about how problematic she is.

Apparently it's problematic that she used the name Anthony Goldstein, a completely normal sounding name. There's probably a thousand Anthony Goldsteins in New York City. What, should his name have been Jamal Jefferson?

The OP was a fun read. I was never into Harry Potter but the lunatics around it have always been funny. I remember back when Rowling was still a left wing darling and people would troll the book releases by shouting about how Dumbledore died. Now troons manage to troll themselves by being mad at twitter. Fantastic.

Also Brad Neely's Wizard People Dear Reader is an unparalleled work of art and should be watched by everyone.

Rowling started at Trans ally but skeptical about including them in women's only spaces like domenstic abuse shelters to being full peaked by their outrageous backlash and going full terf.

Who would've thought that threatening violence and trying to cancel someone over innocuous statements might make them actually dislike you?

Because Harry Potter is aimed at children and teenagers. Troons have the mentality of children and teens.

It's like betrayal for them that the creator don't share their beliefs. They mistakenly take the art to be an extension of the author (like the retarded things they are). They really want to embrace Harry Potter but they can't without separating fiction from reality.

Troon can only ruin media. They are cancer and everyone is starting to see that.

The OP has a lot of promise.
Here's my issues, though:

1.Very good summary of JK, and the book burning, but very few examples given of people seething at her and screaming about her everywhere. We all know that happens, but some examples wouldn't hurt (something like what you did with the Hogwarts legacy part)
2. Spoiler or delete the "casual vacancy". The whole section feels like a barely relevant rant. Informative, but not particularly useful. If you disagree, put that part under spoiler with something like "explanation why the video is bad".

Because other books, particularly from previous decades or centuries, are too heavy and mature for them (mature in the sense of being mature, not having gratuitous swearing, sexual content, or violence). Plus, they'd almost certainly find other reasons to hate the books or the authors in question. HP Lovecraft is a great example of an author that is hated by the left, even though they love his literature and the genre he helped to create.

Anyway, I find it interesting that even as a young conservative or rightist libertarian, I found a great deal to like about the Harry Potter series, found a lot of it relatable, to the point I was mildly surprised when I found out that JK Rowling was very much leftist, because even back then (late aughts), I thought leftists behaved more like the unlikable characters from the Ministry of Magic.

I often feel that JK Rowling made and shat the bed she's being forced to sleep in now, by pandering to such people in the first place. Still gotta give her credit for standing up to these people tho.

Honestly, theres so much of it that 95% is low tier potshots and 5% is deranged sperg gold that I've been looking for. I was being a bit selective but I think ill just include a few of those compilations images going around.

I don't like JKR, I never really liked her books or writing either but god this is the funniest media fallout I've ever encountered. She does nothing, the books have not changed at all since these idiots first read them. They were dry humping these books to death for years, ignoring all the things that they now find racist or whatever.

I don't like her politics but I like the way she gives non-responses that put trannies on suicide watch. For real though, I guarantee JKR doing nothing interesting has a higher tranny kill count than all of KF's "alleged" kill count combined. I'd love to see numbers if anyone actually went through with it.

Because at one point the consoomers were treating their random Hogwarts house assignments from Pottermore like astrology bitches treat star signs or the MBTI test fuckers treat the 16 personality types.

I am struggling to source this but I think Rowling managed to get into it with leftie journocow Ben Collins over Twitter at one point, it was pretty funny if memory serves and potentially worth mentioning if it can be dug up. I'm going a little loopy trying to find it and wondering if I gave myself a false memory or something.
