I might be tempted to think that Rona may have been trying to help out Ade by embellishing, but I've read enough from and about Patso to find her statement entirely credible. He issues threats all the time. The thing to wonder is if Ade managed to get a TRO on Piggy as a result of this. Something that also may be a public record.

He pleaded no contest to the disorderly conduct even though it was only based on hearsay. A barely competent attorney could have gotten it dismissed. (although there are exceptions to admitting hearsay in court. Legal Kiwis, are death threats one of the exceptions?) This is a criminal conviction, btw, just not a felony.

As evidenced by his online behavior over the past 10 years, he's a compulsive liar with serious impulse control issues. I'm sure Adrienne and the legal system noticed his unstable behavior too, which is why Rick was forced to surrender his parental rights.

I know the legal system(s) in North America get a lot of bad rap, but in all honesty when you actually read a full decision judges are generally thoughtful and honest in attempting to get to the right decision. A big part of this is knowing how to read people, as so many, like our Pig (at least he gives it the old 1.2 try) go to great lengths to manage their image to others. In this circumstance a person with a room temperature IQ like Pig always fall back on “you can’t prove I said that” etc. and it’s true, you can’t “prove” it absolutely, and even sometimes not even to some lower legal standard. Regardless, the judge overseeing Pig’s divorce was probably able to see right through this psycho within about two minutes. I think it is a testament to the ability of these family judges in particular to see straight through Pig’s soul and decide in no uncertain terms that any influence he would have in his daughter’s life would be extremely negative. Seeing things like this always makes me happy that there are at least some out there getting it right.

Patrick is fat, I would not have sex with him, and I look forward to the day that he gracelessly expires so that he can spend eternity burning in a hell not unlike he seems to have put everyone related to him through.

I love how he tries to claim that she "embellished the story" in that one text exchange back a page or so ago. Really Pat, she "embellished it?" How exactly did she embellish it? Because if I'm telling the police about something my in-law said, first off it's clearly something serious. If my in-law was like "Man, I sure don't care for my dang ol' soon-to-be ex wife, she's a real jerk!," I'm not calling the cops about that.
