A ween/redditor has claimed to have visited Chris in jail. Apparently Chris is the thinnest he has been since high school and his hair is grey.

The physical description sounds believable in my opinion.

Not sure if possible to prove with certainty this is legit but at the same time, the ween isn't making remarkable insights either. He's not eating McDonalds, he has no toys so he's stressed, and the nurses are probably shoving 500mg of Thorazine every time he talks about some weird electric hedgehog Pokemon he claims to see in the room.

Actually it's less convincing because there's nothing of note from the visit. All the stuff talked about is either public knowledge or easily extrapolated. The only thing of note is that he claims Chris got unbanned from the rec room so he can play basketball again.

I believe this BigChungus-heckingwholesome award le-redditor because it does explain why no one is sharing mail, yet Chris is in normal jail so its not like he can't write, it makes sense that his lawyer is being a lawyer and finally put his foot down that people should stop sharing Chris admitting to crimes and saying shit like "Yer, she had it coming and I wish she would die so I can get my legos". Also I believe the medicated zombie line since he went quiet after hospital and im sure they gave him a script for the jail medical staff to give him goofy-beans 5 times a day since he did admit to tard raging there.

+ as others said, this is isn't very crazy as far as a story, not like le redditor is claiming Chris admitted to raping barbs, said he was gonna sonichu her again, did an autistic screech and punched out the bullet proof plexiglass. It sounds pretty normal.

Its worse then that, hes in Jail, not prison. Jails are like 100x worse since people tend to not give a shit about them since inmates shouldn't be housed there for too much time and there budgets are thin.

I know the meme is "why would someone just lie on the internet?" but this story gives nothing, it doesn't hurt Chris' case, the Redditor used a throwaway so there not after e-fame and its not funny or interesting apart from the fact Chris is a skinny zombie.

wow this might be the most intel on Chris gathered in ages. But what casts some some doubt on it. Well for one the fact that Chris says he got a black eye from a fall. It just sounds too...canned. Like every guy on the inside says I fell, I walked into a door or some other stock response to getting beaten. Chris would have gone into some kind of contrived word salad to describe getting beaten by another inmate. As seen when he described the exorcism incident at western state.

Still the bit about his sacrifice including not going back to barb or the house...it does sound like Chris speak for "the terms of my probation include restraining orders.

The Redditor did say that his "friend" was already in mail correspondence with Chris and that Burg already send him a C&D (and the friend didn't share any letters anyway) so I think burg things its safe or wasn't notified.

Also I don't think Burg stopped Chris from mailing people, but did tell Chris to not talk about case shit and C&D'ed people he sent letters to it sounds like.

This is assuming that actually happened, and no, I don't believe it just because a redditor said it.

That said, I do think Chris has been tard-wrangled to some extent. It's just not a huge insight and I don't believe this redditor knows anything more than anyone else.

It's not mistreatment probably, beyond the extent that the food in a correctional facility is generally mistreatment. He just has lost access to his former diet of fast food. You'd be surprised what cutting that shit out of your diet can do for your weight. Not to say he's healthy now, just thin. It seems like the post said he gets comissary food a few times a week, so maybe he's eating solely from comissary. Again, jail food is ass, so it's not unheard of for some guys to avoid it. Eating some chips and a cup soup a couple times a week is still a very big caloric deficit.

Can't believe I'm about to compare Chris Chan to Brenton Tarrant. But the same thing happened to him. Except where Chris lost a shit load of fat and his hair is turning grey, Brenton's muscles withered away and his skin condition dropped by quite a bit. Both are also prohibited from using recreational and exercise facilities. I'm willing to bet both of them are being fed minimal portions, and the food itself is extremely unhealthy processed goyslop full of seed oil and soy.

Schizophrenic man was basically locked in a cell and left to die. They refused to even give him his meds. I'd be surprised if they give enough of a fuck about a non violent prisoner to bother making him take his meds.
