The problem is that you're thinking like a reasonable person and assuming no one could possibly be that retarded. I disagree. This is a man who is publicly, actively antagonizing several women who have formally accused him (with probable evidence despite credibility issues) of assault and rape, with one case about to go to trial, with his internet stupidity already having caused a video of him beating the shit out of his current girlfriend to be made publicly available. If he's depending on legal aid paying for his lawyer, then posting a frivolous, liquid asset with a fucking receipt is honestly pretty retarded in its own right even if he legitimately bought it (he didn't.) While I realize most of this probably can't even be brought up in court, any person with the slightest glimmer of sense who found themselves in this situation would at least pretend to be on their best behavior, innocent or not. I'm halfway convinced at this point that Nader must be the product of multiple generations' worth of brother-sister incest. Meth can only account for so much.

I believe this was when she was attempting to do "Not Couples But Friends" vlogs in June. She recorded them walking around a park (even bought a season pass for activities in Montreal so they could make it a regular thing) and stayed in seedy motels with him. Thankfully, this awkward and cringeworthy phase ended when she unsuccessfully tried to bribe him with the luxury hotel in Montreal, an assortment of weed, and the promise of a ride to Gatineau.

Doesn't appear like he's making any effort to attend given that time is less than 12 hours away and he's currently livestreaming from Montreal. He has said in past streams that his case is being adjourned again, so don't get too excited folks because the chances he'll even show up are pretty low.

Agreed. I plan on taking a look in case the judge chimps out or in case something is decided upon, so long as I actually get the link tomorrow, but I am fairly convinced that nothing interesting will happen so I really just signed up because my alarm reminded me to, lol.

An offer was sent by the Crown prosecutor to Nader's lawyer so she's asking for the case to be pushed further away (Until March 22nd) to take the time to examine the offer with him. Seems like a plea deal might be underway. I actually didn't expect much more than a continuance so this nothingburger feels semi-interesting.

Interesting... if a plea deal is in the works, the Crown has pretty solid evidence an SA was indeed committed. If Nader accepts, (no idea what might have been offered), he's admitting guilt.

DA's/Prosecutors/The Crown dont throw offers out there if they think they have 'pretty solid evidence'. Offers come from the prosecuting side if they are looking for the easy way out with a 50/50 case. They'd rather get a free win to a lesser charge than fight a full battle for a 50/50 at the actual charge. They know they have some weakness in their case..likely looing at Mae, Chantal and the rest...and are going for the sure thing with a deal.
Now its up to Nader and his assigned attorney to see if they can figure out the weakness that's got the prosecution offering up a deal, and if its worth the risk of an actual guilty plea. Accepting an offer is never an admission of guilt, even if they terms of the offer tell you to say that. Its accepting that even if you're innocent you think a jury/judge can be manipulated into convicting you. Deals arent made because the prosecutor is being a nice woman that day.
Chantal and the "haydurs' will dunk on "OOH SEE HE ADMITTED HE DID IT" if he takes the deal..even if he's guilty AF he might refuse it out of his dumbass ego.
To sum up..The offer was made because the prosecution thinks something in their case is weak and they dont want to go through the bother. If Nader accepts the deal, it means his side thinks theres something weak in his case and the stepped down consequences arent too much of a bother.
