Her skin tone changed as she started her amerimutt enjoying trend and is basically a suit she wears because being brown is more cool for liberals in the US. Sun and cosmetics do the job, but her genetics are white.
Also God didn't prohibit race mixing anywhere, it only prohibits mixing with enemies, polytheists and idolaters, basically. None of the 3 monotheistic religions split people in races, just in tribes, and they all more or less say that in eyes of God, your faith&righteousness matter first, not your blood/genetics.

Also basically the races were quite isolated so there was no reason whatsoever spending time thinking about Africans in Europe. With the Ottomans and with European colonialism in Asia and South America, things started to mix up and differences between various European tribes and those on other continents became clearly visible, so racial awareness increased a lot, culminating with the scientific racism of the 1900s-ish era. As religion became more and more subservient to nations and politics instead of being the ruling force, it was no longer serving its purpose of creating cohesion, so peoples started to coalesce around their tribe and race instead.
