Ben Shapiro / The Daily Wire - Commentator, Lawyer, Writer, WAP Sommelier, Vanquisher of SJWs, Podcast Host, Mara Wilson's cousin

How does the Daily Wire even have 50 million dollars to spare, and even if they do, why would they spend all that for Crowder (or would it be Crowder and his team)? That doesn't sound believable.
I was shocked by that number too. Makes me wonder what they paid Peterson.

It's not so much they have $50 million to spare now but they'll make it up somehow. After all since he'd be getting like a million a month, which is insane, the Daily Wire looks at things like how much they can charge advertisers or viewers to watch their stuff. That's how they'd do it. Although why offer Stephen Crowder of all people $50 million is beyond me. He's not smart or clever. He just talks really loud and makes fun of people.

Kinda feel amused by all these people that think 50M is an amazing offer to Crowder. These fuckers are super rich. Add all those conditions that result in potential loss of revenue, and that he still has to produce the show at a high standard and pay his employees, and you'll understand that 50M is insulting for a conservative commentator with such a large audience.
This is not praise for either part. It's just understanding the amount of money awash in the RW grifting scene.
And no Crowder is hardly a cow. He's had like one meltdown with Sam Seder I think, so he generates low drama by himself.

That makes the deal sound far worse if they don't actually have that money on hand. I suppose that explains the usurious like terms in the contract. They clearly want to make their money back if there going to spend all that money.

They were never going to pay Crowder that 50 million and he knew it. One of the stipulations in that contract was they could slash his pay if he lost his monetization on Youtube (which he did). They could slash it even more if he ever received any channel strikes. So let's say that he somehow managed to avoid being struck by political organizations running gay ops on him. If I owned the Daily Wire and the deadline to pay Crowder his money was coming up, I can't say I wouldn't be tempted to have a few interns who each signed NDAs flag his videos.

Crowder responds to the Daily Wire.

Oh shit this is getting good holy balls.

EDIT: Post it on Rumble you nigger!
Wow, he's stacked that bullshit nice and high. "It's not about money", yet the whole recording is him talking about money and changing the business model. The cherry on top is Jordan Peterson changing the country before benzos burned his brain, and calling Ben Shapiro "the smartest guy I know". Yet those two chucklefucks fell into the same trap.

I don't think the mount offerred was really weird at all. Of course they want to make their money back. Companys hire and acquire based on projections all the time. Its a large reason why there are large layoffs everytime projections are bad or theres a poor economic forecast.
I'm not too familiar with the broadcasting talent industry, but these payments are usually not paid as a lump sum. The contract price falls into budget when you assume it is paid over x number of years, especially if they are forecasting growth year over year. Also, a lot of time when a company without much cash acquires another company, the payment could be in the form of stock.

Do we have a Matt Walsh thread or this is the dumping general Daily Wire topic?
Regardless, Matt Walsh, of What Is A Woman fame, Theocratic Fascist™️ extraordinaire, was recently on Joe Rogan and OMG, did he fail through the whole thing in the most frustrating way possible.
You can find the whole thing on Spotify if you have the patience.
Or you can watch some of the gay marriage stuff here:
Matt was literally unable to describe a single reason why gay marriage should not be allowed, and allowed Rogan to walk all over him based on muh freedom and liberty and individualism and gayz should be appreciated and normalized, which was insane to watch from somebody that claims to be against degeneracy.
The podcast is quite the significant manifestation of complete impotence of a prominent cuckservative to oppose even the slightest liberal propaganda and attempts to normalize sexual deviancy.
I might have realized just now that this show could've been Matt simply abiding by the restrictive terms in the Daily Wire contract.
I would prefer he join Crowder and says that openly if it's the case, instead of looking like a 50IQ retard for the whole of Joe Rogan's large audience.

This whole thing is sounding more and more retarded the more I hear of it granted it's to be expected I suppose since it's still in the he-said-she-said phase, but this whole whining about "well it's not about the money" and, in particular, the "I'm worried about other people" just rings hollow for me. I also don't get, if Crowder trusts people like Clavan or Shapiro so much, why didn't he go to them first, and make a public stand with them against whoever this guy is that's managing contracts. Why do this anonymous wink-wink-nudge-nudge BS in the first place?

We're talking about 12.5 mil per year, give or take depending on the penalties and shit, basically a million a month. Honest question, how much would an episode of LWC cost? I know things like CMM are probably more expensive but if we speak only about the show, what do you guys think? Breaking it down like that I think it could be a considerable amount because Crowder does seem to hire a lot of people to work on research and funni things.
Even with all of his employees a million a month might be ok, but he could probably do better independently.

It's a pretty big company, according to Forbes:
  • The Daily Wire now has a run rate approaching $150 million, annualized.
  • It’s closing in on 200 full-time employees

They never intended on paying him anywhere near that. Why would some Canadian cross dresser be worth more than Colbert ($15M/year)? The whole thing sounds like some kind of ploy.
