Philosophy Tube / Oliver Lennard / Oliver "Olly" Thorn / Abigail Thorn - Breadtube's Patrick Bateman.

I would like to point out that in the Italian trailer for Django, Ollie's line is dubbed over by an actual woman. The difference is uncanny.

My prediction: his character is a prostitute in the town that features in the opening episode. He only has a few lines and the reason he liked this character so much is because he can't wait for people to see him as a scantily dressed bimbo. After that his character never appears again by the way, we know that for sure.

It would be hilarious if the scene is so dimly lit we can barely see choob.

Poor Noomi 😂

Sometimes the sheer scale of Olly's delusions leave me dumbfounded. How is it possible to have such an inaccurate view of one's own appearance? How does he look in the mirror and see his vast, pudgy face (his head is about twice the size of hers) and think "yeah, I can totes see it babes - if I just suck in my cheeks enough I look exactly like this petite Swedish actress"? I guess that sums up the appeal of troondom - weak-minded men escaping to a female fantasy land where they never have to face reality.

That absolute balls on Ollie to go along with this limp-dicked compliment. This is how you can tell he's an unrepentant narcissist: someone says something that's obviously ridiculous and instead of gracefully saying thanks and demurring he goes right along with it and even posts a picture to go 'tee hee, ur right I guess'.

when he said in that reply "she really jumped off the page at me lmao he didnt especially like the character, he was just gonnna take anything he's offered because of course he would.
its immaterial what the part is.

even the way he phrased it ( in that Tumblr reply)...like, its the sort of thing that a lazily written, pretentious boastful cliche over-confident bore would say., in a medicore tv comedy..everything about Olly is fake, even when its the specfic ways he sucks.

I assume that’s his stupid voice in the beginning, other than that I couldn’t spot him.

I'm really fond of the 1966 original which people should check out if they're at all interested in italo westerns.
But this looks pretty lame and toned down. Apparently they've replaced the mexicans with black people which is a very current year thing to too.

@Taked1993
>I really admire Diogenes the Cynic, as he was described and the image that survived in Greek anecdotes, because he knew that men want too much from life for their own good. When you realize that you're nobody and you're owed nothing you truly become free.

Diogenes is always relevant to trans discurse:
“Plato had defined the human being as an animal, biped and featherless, and was applauded. Diogenes plucked a fowl and brought it into the lecture-room with the words, ‘Here is Plato’s human being.’ In consequence of which there was added to the definition, ‘having broad nails’” (Diogenes Laertius, Lives of Eminent Philosophers, Book 6, Chapter 40)

Noomi Rapehon
Choobi Rapeface :(

Two peas in a pod! Well, I mean they are both homo sapiens, to be sure…Welllll alright, not *sure* sure.. Tube possibly homo erectus, but let’s be generous- in keeping with the character of our thread 🐖.

@Peenix Lol, bit more Oliver!posting. Love to see it.
Fr tho you are gonna be bothering the director with your piss poor “ideas” - which we all know are gonna be a very short circle back to The Tube ~“maybe we dispense with tired old 'Django', I’m thinking, oh, idk, stay with me here babes, but I'm seeing: 'Jess'.
It sounds like this Matthias is probably a genuinely kind, sympathetic guy, who saw and felt sorry for Tube, obviously marooned on set; unable to tell via language barrier how interpersonally toxic Tube is- let him talk! The way you pop a crap effort from a four year old up on the fridge, with praise fit for Michelangelo

I have noticed there’s a theme of media that keep being referenced site wide, across Troon threads.
Oliver!, though rarer, is a semi-regular feature; the big players being Ghostbusters II, Little Britain, The League of Gentlemen, Silence of the Lambs..Alan Partridge for Tube specifically has made many a mention.. umm, Warhammer , or 40k, I think the wider world is called? Plus I think, Resident Evil, and/or another few video games- honestly I dont know about that side...so, I’ve reached my limit but I know there’s a couple more, less obvious ones that I see time and time gain on the farms. *

We have a lot of early mid 20th c literary work mentioned, Orwell gets reworked passages on a few threads, as well as some modern classics poetry restyled

*Edit
something that reminded me to post this, came up on another thread.
very much in keeping.
'I'm Your Number 1 Fan'
a famously fucked mid 90s documentary about stalkers- peak farms fodder.
happily, all on youtube.

I'm not sure why I put myself through even reading this thread with a lower BAC than .6, but it sounds more like this Mathias guy was bemused about a glorified extra trying to get extra lines. Olly really doesn't understand his place in the pecking order - they barely tolerate those sort of things from the regulars unless they're popular/important enough to the plot they can't do away with them, much less from an ogre of a tranny that's just an extra.

People behind the scenes will remember him alright and make sure to never hire him again; there's plenty of non-passing trans women out there to pick from.

The 'Mathias guy', other than his role as the conspicuous Putin facsimile in Red Sparrow, is most famous for his role in 'The Danish Girl'

You can 100% be sure this is how Choob pictured all his brief reactions with Schoenaerts

This actually made me wince a little bit, ouch

How could it possibly be that Tube's acting career isn't taking off, when he even goes so far as to generously provide his ideas to the director even though he was only hired as a two-line extra?
I have a strong feeling that the director was a woman now..
And, that the question he replied to was another self submission. No one really knows or gives much of a fuck about this actor and Tube has been manufacturing opportunities to gush about their interactions for ages ramping up lately.
I wonder I the guy knows that tranny from set STILL has his name in his mouth all the time trying to leverage shit from it?
Tube really needs to learn the art of not publicly obsessing about people who at best vaguely remember you exist, and at worst…Contra.

how interesting.
"kicked my abuser out''
usually, an abused partner flits out in secret, terrified, in hiding often leaving most if their material worldly goods behind them.
Not Tubey!
He kicks HIS abuser out!

just watched the trailer all the way through, god his delivery is so much more pointedly stilted than the rest, i cant belive they used it...even like, the sound quality?? is off? it sounds like it's clipping? maybe its just that his voice is so fucked it throws off the feel of the audio entirely.
but ugh, yick.

LOL, omg the comments (the ONLY comments) on the trailer...

thats got to be a bit embarrassing, for the production?

i imagine everyone else in it (with actual parts) will be a bit '???' about it?

he's made it like, all about himself?
maybe this is why they stuck his voice at the beginning, like out of pity that he's been the driving engine for the whole thing...or maybe because they think it will do shit for whatever reason, and had to throw a bone to at least tubes 1m subscribers who they think they can get a faithful few Sky subscriptions out of?

Something is afoot for sure.. something is in the air....
something cringe.

EDIT
aha!
click on expand on the About section of the video....and the very last paragraph, you get this :)

'We take pride in our approach to diversity and inclusion: we’ve been recognised by The Times and Stonewall for our commitment to diversity, and we’ve set ambitious 2025 targets to continue to increase diversity and representation.  We’re also committed to investing £30million across our markets over the next three years to improve our approach to diversity and inclusion, and to tackle racial injustice.'
