That's funny. For some reason, I thought it was Brassard who had that nickname. But I guess it's been applied to both of them over the years.
I think Brassard also specializes in convincing people to go for "zero depth" procedures, so he can squeeze in two customers per day.
The Montreal clinic was raking in the taxpayer dollars for years as the sole clinic in Canada doing bottom surgeries. They do have a longstanding reputation for not communicating with local doctors when complications arise. And lots of complications arise. (Part of why they convince people to go zero depth, I imagine.)
Who all remembers the axe wielding troon who tried to set the clinic on fire after his surgery?
But people kept going, because they were the only clinic in Canada, and the government pays to send them there. (Some provinces would reimburse a trip overseas, if you had money to pay upfront.)
They're not the only game in town anymore though. I skipped a few pages, are there any reviews in yet on Genoway in Vancouver? (Or the Toronto clinic-- who's the surgeon there?)
