Well we've been exposed to Jazz's poetry so I feel safe to say we have a bit of an idea of his intellectual capacity.
It's certainly not "a-bringing" signs of a great intellect, nor is it "a-coming" with any evidence of self awareness...
Cousin Debbie also employs "poetry therapy" in her practice, so we probably have her to thank for this, too. T. S. Eliot she ain't.

It's possible this has been discussed and I just missed it, but has anyone ever looked into the "charity" that Jazz's parents run, the Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation? It's not evaluated on Charity Navigator or GuideStar, likely because their income is too low.
The website is pretty old and only has been pictures of Jazz pre-obesity. Their FB and Instagram are still active, but only to share basic pro-trans stories.
It doesn't seem like they provide any kind of services or anything, it seems like the entire org is just sharing "trans day of visibility" shit on fb.
Anyone able to dig up their tax returns and see how much money they're taking in? Is this something Jeanette set up and forgot, or are they doing shady things?

Jazz, for all his padded achievements and “school honors” never struck me as being too bright.
This exactly the kind of utter poetic mediocrity you’d expect from a sheltered, not too bright boy who’ve never gotten to mature emotionally and intellectually.

So it sounds like mostly what this organisation does is collects money to donate to other charities, plus also provides direct money to some trans kids and pays out for events and trips to trans summer camp.
That... that actually does sound a bit dodgy, because charitable grants usually need a bit of paperwork attached, don't they? An auditable paper trail to prove they weren't just skimming donations to give directly to friends or family. Otherwise it mostly sounds like it was set up go handle running those little drag shows and picnics Jazz used to go on during the show's earlier seasons.

Not only is his intellect stunted by the hormones and upbringing, everything related to the rainbow mafia is childish and not challenging at all. Just look at the "decoration" he and Sander did to his room. Get what I mean? "What can we do today to make this place look better... I know! Rainbows!!" That's all the capacity for originality Jazz and Sander have. They can't move forward and are stuck in the creative stage of a five years old kid who thinks the more colors you add, the better your "art" will become.
I've mentioned before that this is perhaps one of the reasons they target children (the ones who aren't explicitly pedos, I mean). They are childish and their minds are childish as well. They can't communicate with other functioning normal adults with normal adult interests and views. They're truly NPCs: "Hi, I'm an ally", "look the rainbow I have in my room!", "I need to spread positivity", and that's it.

It’s both a blessing and a curse that he will most likely never have a clue. He’s in too deep.
A blessing because the police won’t suddenly be called out to an unusual gruesome murder/suicide one night.
A curse because his life will never get any better. He’ll always be uncomfortable in his body. He will always have mental issues. He will never experience either love nor sex. And the older he gets, the weirder his body will get as the hormones and his naturally male body clash.

Jazz reminds me a lot Ben from The Mick. Ben's a little boy who wears girls' clothes 'cause that's just what he likes. There's an entire episode - S01E11 The New Girl - is suggested to changed schools, due to most schools in the area not accepting new students, is enrolled in an all-girls school under the guise of being a trans girl. The episode is a pretty solid commentary on "trans kids" in general. Ben doesn't even know what transgender means - at one point exclaiming "I'm a transformer!". He says he likes his school uniform, a dress, because "it's breezy on [his] vagina." He's just a boy who likes girls' clothes. The episode is a pretty solid commentary on "trans" kids. Definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it. Or if you have. It's a pretty good show and Ben is one of the best parts.

Given how young Jazz was when his parents decided that he was trans, we have very little to go off of in speculating how he would've turned out had they just let him grow up normally. Any parent who lets their underage kid get gender affirmation surgery of any kind should have the exact same done on them.
