The username is dutch and translates to "cyclist in the US", so I'm thinking he's some dutch transplant.

Talked to dozens of dutch people (very common in sim racing) and the only one I've met that I liked hated most of his country, and was very nice. The rest were all incredibly self centered and had no life goals besides smoke and travel

Reddit's head up it's own ass problems come from the Tumblr Exodus and it's European fans lol.

5-6 years ago you could say Nigger on r/dankmemes and everyone laughed. Reddit always had a pretentious side, but it didn't show itself until the political involvement of 2015 on, the tumblr exodus, the Chinese involvement etc.
