Wait, so if the " bad guys" are trying to get everyone together for a One World thing, who was dividing people like mad for the past few years with all the stuff like Antifa/BLM, vax and unvaxed, LGBT+ and whatever... wouldn't it be better if we wanted to stick together?

Oh yeah, the same "bad guys" are afraid that we'll turn on them so they keep people angry at one another so big groups can't work well together. Bosses in mining camps used to do the same thing, "othering" different nationalities of workers so they wouldn't trust each other and unionize.

Ignore me, I answered my own question.

I dunno. Sure, intertubes is where they have their echo chambers, and where the narrative is (also) crafted, but the 'net is also about the only place where - if one puts in the effort - one can access counter-narrative opinions. Pull the plug, and the normies would go back to 'legacy media' for their mis/dis/info - which would mean the propaganda they consume wouldn't essentially change, just how they access it (and with even less chance of encountering contradiction). 'Dissidents' would be affected far more. Then again, I don't necessarily think an internet outage would be targeted in that way, exclusively - though it would be a neat side effect. I think general chaos and confusion, and causing maximum destruction to, and disruption of, broader society is the purpose. And it's something else you can blame Russia for as well. Nothing that makes the proles lives worse can be ruled out.

If the entire internet got lumberjacked, I'd probably just watch Tucker Carlson and use my brain to read between the lines. Tucker's viewership exploded in recent years because he's one of the very few voices on TV capable of explaining this bizarre world we live in to the boomers. Now yes, he's without a doubt allowed to exist only so the elite can pigeonhole all of his views as "dangerous far-right extremism" and there's a lot he omits, minimizes, or wastes time on, but he's doing an absolute service to people like some of my older relatives.

I think the group around Musk like Peter Thiel (evil transhumanist into vampirism) is some sort of competing faction trying to be at the center and replace the Davos clique. It's a power struggle going on at levels it would take an entire book to describe. They are trying to harnass populism (look how they backed Trump or what Elon did to Twitter) in order to beat the Davos clique to center themselves as world rulers.

There are probably other factions trying to sideline Klaus, Yuval, etc. but none are as prominent as Musk and Thiel. Except maybe the "BRICS" faction (not really the countries but the oligarchs who rule their deep states), who seem to want a multipolar world with the United Nations and its agencies, grant organizations, partnerships, etc. reigning supreme.

Whoever wins, we lose.

You're thinking too small. The vast, vast majority of internet traffic is nothing to do with social media or whatever, but is traffic between systems and services that keep so much of the world running. When these WEF types are envisioning a "cyber pandemic", they're thinking of a mass attack of something like stuxnet, or some other worm, spreading across corporate systems and causing havoc that way. Imagine a worm that fucks with stock markets, or with hospital computer systems. You can cripple the planet and leave the bread'n'circuses social media perfectly functional.

Just a few days ago I saw someone using that old argument which goes like this: "Well, the people on top like Musk and Tim Cook and Bill Gates aren't Jewish, so Jews don't rule the world." I feel that making a literal Israeli the CEO of Globalism Inc would be bad PR, but PR doesn't really matter anymore. As you can see everyday, we're reaching (or have reached) that scary point where the time for pretense has passed.

The older ones are probably facing down their own mortality and are desperate to transfer their consciousness into their 12 year old slave brides or something.

I just don’t get transhumanists. They’re either arrogant or clueless whenever they parrot on how people can be modified like computers. It’s a horribly disingenuous analog.

I don't say this lightly. I say there's honestly this is absolutely! Some of the most terrifying videos I've seen. It's the kind of fear that a envelops your brain on a primitive level like a hunter being scared of another predator. Well it was nice to have thoughts once

I can’t believe that these people can say this stuff in front of an audience with a straight face. It’s almost like a skit. You expect them to announce that next up will be Dr. Evil and Mini-Me to deliver a presentation on how to harness geothermal energy by deliberately erupting volcanoes. These people are fucking nuts.

You know what ....I used to laugh at conspiratards and they're almost cartoonish portrayal of the ultra elite. it stopped being funny several seasons ago though. The great lockdowns of covid and the summer of love 2020 edition riots have instilled this truth in me. That not only will the nigger cattle line up in lock step for these new fancy brain tracking devices. They'll pre-order it
