My hobbies revolve around a lot of traditional, unsexy skills, like growing and preserving food and homesteading. So far there are basically zero troons of any type in this field, may God preserve us. I've wondered why, since it's definitely a female-heavy space. I think it's because the aesthetic is wrong for them. Women who are big deals in the homesteading community tend to have a very fresh-faced, no-makeup, hair in a braid, zero cleavage, wearing your husband's flannel aesthetic. You would get negative feedback in this community for a lot of makeup, "sexy" outfits, pretending to be weak, etc.
I'm also interested in hydroponics and greenhouses and those communities do have a smattering of MtFs. I'm pretty sure this person is a troon, their channel is a mix of the kind of homesteady content that males are drawn to (greenhouses, hydro, mushroom cultivation) and Minecraft. They wear no makeup, have troon voice and their fake boobs are always out. This is very much not how actual women look in videos about similar content. They're a rare outlier among homestead nerds, though.

Never seen a troon out in the wilderness, but we're trying to replace our old gear and in digging around the net for recommendations and reviews found that Mountain Research has video of a tif demonstrating how to pitch their tents.I know it's rhetorical but if a hobby is big for autistic people, it is full of troons. Things like hiking can have troons in them, but the whole scene will not be controlled by them since they are vastly outnumbered. You sadly have the misfortune of enjoying a high autistic hobby. I'm sure the trains community is fucking flooded with troons by now.

Have a hobby where certain ammount of autism is required, like low-level coding or reverse engineering, and there will always be an exceptional individual high on troonshine complaining about some idiotic shit. I miss the days where the most autistic people only smelled. Now they also have fake boobs, a stinkditch, etc...
A game that you can play. Get a playlist from any language / programming convention or event, and without opening the video find the troons. Just from the titles and keynote speakers. For example Here's RustConf 2022. YouTube thumbnails are 100x50px and even then you can tell.

A few weeks ago I overheard two of my coworkers (very offline guys, you know the type, they treat programming mostly as a job, not a hobby) talking about a side-business project idea one of them had and he said he's considering Rust for it. The other guy made a weird face, lowered his voice and went:

It’s also a lower-tech field that often needs hard work, which goes against the general troon zeitgeist of fast high tech solutions, ideally provided by the kind of horrible faceless corporation they pretend to be against. Plus a lot of the women who enjoy that kind of thing do it for their families, and while a lot of troons have gross fetishes related to motherhood, the vast majority don’t actually want to take on the role of a mother who works hard for her family.

I mostly hang out on forums and text discord when I dare. I assume everyone who says something "womanlike" is actually a not-woman because that's a much higher probability than an actual woman being there, and I suspect you and most other women also try and avoid drawing any attention to yourself due to this problem. "There are no women on the Internet" still holds true today. As a man it doesn't cause much of a problem since I just avoid any pronoun use and treat them all the same. That is until they begin to sperg out about JK Rowling or Hogwarts or Byuu or some other retarded shit. And of course any time I venture into watching a video I'm instantly disappointed and have to turn it off.Vintage computing, retro gaming, electronics, synths are all hobbies for autistic men, therefore they are full, and I mean FULL of mtfs. They are usually the most terminally online, undersocialized and toxic of a bunch. I know, all mtfs, are, but being autistic nerds plus being a tranny? Oh dear. I've seen so many hobby spaces pozzed and destroyed by them. Maybe there's enough material for a thread about this whole community.
Not to PL, but they make participating in those hobbies a huge pain as a true and honest female. We nerds are doomed man

I don't hide being a woman but I also tend to not talk about it and intentionally keep it vague, I know some people I interact with me in hobby spaces (like forums, IRC channels or Discord) think I'm mtf too, but honestly as much as stupid it is, I prefer this at this point. Trannies lose their minds when the bio-female joins the group, some of them get angry and unhinged (because mere existence of a woman gives them muh dysphoria), some try to creep into your DMs and pull "hello fellow whamen let's talk about our whamenly experiences, shall we?"
But then again, I know maybe two women who are into this kind of stuff (well, three, but Naomi the bimbo with LED tits doesn't count), so it's hard to compare experiences.
Okay, but I sperged enough, time to pay content tax - to stay on topic of nerd-related spaces, I highly recommend checking tech.lgbt Mastodon instance every now and then for fresh milk. It's filled to the brim with autistic genderspecials, just look at the instance' admin profile:

To add to all the other responses, there’s a difference between “there’s a tranny in my hobby” and “my entire hobby is trannies”. Given how fashionable it is to troon out, you’re likely to encounter at least one trans person who’s kept up with what they were interested in pre-transition, in which case, who gives a fuck.
If you want a 100% tranny-free experience, probably look into something with an intense physical demand, or even better, contact sports. Like, real boxing. If the workout doesn’t make them quit then their reduced bone density will
Stuff like making kombucha, pickling, and having a home garden seem like prime territory for FtMs as the perfect intersection between fuck capitalism/farming’s kind of manly/yet still an unsexy woman thing thats not shameful to enjoy. I just got into the aquarium hobby (fish are harder to kill than plants, I guess) and it doesn’t seem like there are as many loud and proud queers as there were when I was in reptile circles. TiFs seem to gravitate towards ball pythons and I don’t know why.
I’m shit outta luck as a true and honest female who plays bass, though. Apparently that’s infested by trans girls as much as programming is. Let me tell you, having big ol man hands helps A LOT.

Like most leftists, troons are completley fucking lazy. They'll complain about paying $30 to DoorDash a fucking 7/11 hotdog, but they'll do it because "Muh disability".
The concept of gardening, farming, hunting, fishing or raising livestock gives them anxiety. These pathetic cretins don't have the patience, drive or desire to put all that effort into building a life for themselves or future generations. That's why you almost never see trannies in smaller towns. Because a more independant lifestyle is abhorrent to them.

I myself only have a small garden, and it takes work.
Even "Community gardens" in cities that have a few hippies growing small fruits and vegetables inevitably fall into ruin because of laziness, drugs or mental health problems from the "farmers", or homeless people and vandals destroying the whole damn thing because they don't know how to protect it/themselves.
I could go on, but it would just become a multi-page rant about trannies and leftists and how utterly useless they are to both reality and society.
