I noticed "obese" trending on twitter, and when I looked to see wtf was going on, it was a LOT of truth being told about obesity with nary a sniff of Health At Every Size bullshit!

There is hope that this awful trend is going to go away!

For the past few months my supermarket has been removing convenience food items that I really like and replacing them wth 'vegan options', and I blame fat vegans screeching that they want more vegan food. Last victim were these small American pancakes made with yoghurt that were delicious and fluffy and tart, and they were replaced with spelt-banana vegan pancakes with literally twice the calories, that are all carbs and additives. They also replaced the cold coffee brands (consisting of just coffee and water) with a variety of ice coffee vegan lattés and frappuccinos and what have you, all of them calorie bombs, just like the ones with regular milk.

Whether or not this is a first world problem or not, this is still fucking annoying and you have my sympathies. Vegan "insert delicious meat or dairy here" has to be full of crap in order to mimic the texture/flavor of real fucking food. I was vegan for a brief while many moons ago and i didn't touch that shit. Instead, i ate a lot more vegetables and beans. Then i started missing meat and also got dizzy quite a lot (prolly from iron deficiency) and i was like "fuck this".

The concept of a fat vegan struck me as very odd but then i looked at what these people eat and it makes so much sense (like @Plantation Barbie said early in a much more elegant way).

On another note, these "what i eat in a day as a fat person" are just weird to me. You eat a lot of processed garbage that doesn't keep you full so you can eat mass quantities of it and lie to your viewers. It's not hard to eat like shit; it's hard to eat WELL (at least in the US where most of these fools live)

I’ve known one true vegetarian in my life. I’ve crossed paths with dozens, of not hundreds of tryhard, true-believer vegans who would never eat an egg or taste a cheese because Henrietta the Hen or Clarice the Cow might be harmed; only to be felled by circumstance and tastiness. No, only one man has truly passed the test. That man is a 300 pound obese autist who will not eat animal products simply for the reason that it grosses him out. Meat makes him gag, so does dairy. He remains fat off of pasta. You can be healthy or unhealthy on almost any restrictive diet, if you are missing the point obstinately and entirely.

As a nutritionist you did this woman a grave disservice by using her video as an excuse to lecture us all on fatphobia and double standards when what should have been discussed is the dangers of suger addiction and what resources people can use to break their addiction.

What is the point of drinking soda? Especially diet soda. Are you thirsty? Does it actually quench your thirst? I can’t think of a single advantage it has over drinking water. It doesn’t hydrate you. It isn’t pleasant unless you’re addicted to sugar like a child. I can only see it’s utility as a mixer/chaser for an alcoholic drink. But I guess I’m asking for logic from a group that defines itself on being negligently obese.

Sugar and salt addiction. Zoe, like a lot of our gorls, will eat pepperoncini or pickles as a "snack" and mainline sugary tea/soda/coffee throughout the day. She doesn't even bother to meal prep even though she's a stay at home mom that doesn't have anything else to do. Her entire life seems to revolve around putting on a full face of makeup for social media, shopping, and eating whatever processed carb she pulled out for the kids. Her kids will almost certainly be porkers based on mom's eating habits.

She also has horrible fillers and lip injections going. Here she is two years ago, probably about 40lbs lighter, and while she's no looker she at least doesn't look like a fish:

Please tell me this is ironic. You think people liking a different flavor is inherently childish, but alcohol is mature. Yes, frontal lobe suppression, fast track to cirrhosis, inflammatory state... all the same effect as being obese in a convenient glass. Plus usually comes with massive bonus calories for double the damage. Gee, sure is superior to someone drinking non-caloric sweeteners in fizzy water.

Honestly, who the fuck cares. If someone isn't dinking either soda or alcohol to excess, the fuck is the point in masturbating tastes and assigning age values to flavors. One of the dumbest ways people project superiority.

People get fat on every taste the brain is capable of detecting as long as it is caloric, there isn't a magic "only sweet things bad" and plenty of fatasses get that way on the savory... and alcohol.

Ok, let's be fair, it would be really hard to find enough umami to to be fat.

She likens herself to the obese purple M&M which is used to "promote women" (to be obese?). The only similarity this hamplanet has with that M&M is the color. Purple M&M looks happy and has actual legs that fit comfortably into shoes. This chick has resting bitch face in every single tiktok and looks like she's gonna bust out of every shoe that lands on her massive feet.

I was going to come in and write a whole diatribe about Diet Coke and how it's not just fatties that enjoy it, but normal weight people imbibe it regularly as well (and it is a favorite drink in the ana-chan community)... but then I realized I'd come off just as fucking autistic as people who sperg about the superiority of just straight water and proclaim that diet sodas are for teh losers.

Edited to correct: Actually found research papers on it. It's not the ana-chan community that favors it most. Ana-chans come in second to bulimics. Order of magnitude in drinking diet soda: Bulimics, Anorexics, Control Group, BED, EDNOS. 3 studies I found had the same relative spread.

These landwhales think that TikTok is real life, and base all of their whinging on random TikToks from thin people (usually teenage thin people). If you had an actual life, and hobbies and didn't live on the internet, you would see how futile 'stitching' these TikToks would be. You would also see it is like the tiniest minority of people making these TikToks about fatty clothing, and that it isn't an actual, real life problem off of the internet.
