Hear ye! Hear ye! I now declare to you that the fulfillment of my promise to the Farms is (almost) apprehended! My script to log LOCALS chats is (mostly) running and I have the first substantial collection of data to share.
Before that a few disclaimers on this first dataset:
This first dataset is an incomplete archive of the Monday night chat. Hardware glitches and interruption of internet service (fixed now and rare, respectively) plagued this first outing.
In additional a script error caused the URL scrapes of the cdn links to be dropped. This has now been corrected and links should be present going forward
The programme also needs a function written to scrape embedded media like Twitter links that I will work on this week.
Over this week, I also hope to do a full de-bug to clean up unused code, and get the automatic chat switching working so that I do not have to re-start the programme every time there is a new chat created. Once working, the process and file generation should be automatic, and I should only have to post the files as they are completes. Over then next few weeks, I hope to add important features like reply-threading and other stats for funsies like a leaderboard for 'most messages in chat', 'longest time in chat', 'most images sent in chat' and the like.
In their current state, the archives do not need much post-processing to get to the state I will post them in(mainly text filtering to remove HTML tag via 'Find-Replace'). but this is not the limit of what is possible. I post only links to image/media posted to keep the archives small. The media can be downloaded into EXCEL via a VBA macro like this:

Finally before the data itself, a final disclaimer as to purpose behind this script:
Nick, I know you will see this, or it will get back to you in some way. I have not embarked upon this little project out of any animus. In point of fact, I actually enjoyed your content for many years. You have simply become less and less entertaining to me over the last few months. Being told to 'fuck off' merely hastened the end of my enjoyment, but in no way did it give rise to the dissatisfaction. I have merely found a new way to make what you produce amusing to myself and others.
You know how the internet works and have opined upon it many times on your show. You are also an avowed free-speech absolutist. People can either stand by what they say 'in public' (Yes, your full chat is visible 5 messages at a time on your sign-up page as a preview to the PUBLIC and from where it can be effortlessly scraped without a paying subscription) or they can admit they do not actually believe or want free speech.
Do not post it online if you do not want it talked about. Your own words attach to yourself. People on Kiwi Farms are (mostly) harmless asshats laughing at retards.
This archive presents people's true words in their FULL context and allows people to make up their own minds as to what has been said without editorial comment, framing, or selective censorship. People will make up their own minds what it means without any input from me.
