From what i can see, Russian is on the iniative, launching infrantry based ( with classic artillery support, WW1 style ) minor offensives around different fronts. This is all i know

Sure, some industries have increased production but not alot at all. Even in WW2, the US didnt convert totally to a war economy. The west has enough stocks to beat Russia out of Ukraine and more, its more about time, training and political will ( excluding ammunition which will need to be solved by increasing production and charming third world countries for their stocks )

Compared to this summer where Russia fired about 10x more grenades than Ukraine, its not at all that important anymore. From most sources, Russia fires about 3-4x more grenades than Ukraine, and their artillery is much more inprecise. For example, if Russia ( Wagner, lol ) completes their cauldron around Bakhmut, it wont be as effective as their cauldron last summer in Donbass. Cauldrons need tons of artillery, with a 50-60% decrease in artillery and an increase in Ukrainian precise artillery this wont be as decisive as they think

From my view, most of the west has barely converted any of their industries to war economy as their not in a war. Its a piece by piece commitment to a proxy war, mostly from existing stocks.
