FACISM IS WHEN YOU CAN'T FUCK 11 YEAR OLDS

Someone unironically should report these fuckers to the FBI, they need to be on a watchlist.

This time they're just upset about romance in a visual novel or some shit but time and time again they get upset whenever loli porn gets banned from pornsites. Actual menance to society.
This wasn't all that was done. As with other Nintendo properties, clear references to gender were removed from several pieces of dialogue. This autism is a smokescreen.

Some squealing might be coming from the reddit piggies soon:
Reddit Layoffs 2023: What to Know About the Latest Reddit Job Cuts (archive)

Reddit layoffs have the social media company in the news as it evaluates the individual performance of its staff.

According to current and former Reddit employees, the company sent out an email on Jan. 24 warning them that layoffs may be on the way. Insiders at the company also note that it wasn’t just poor performers that were let go as Reddit looks to reduce costs.

It’s also unknown just how many employees have been impacted by the Reddit layoffs. The company hasn’t released an official number. Instead, a spokesperson simply said the company undergoes performance reviews throughout the year to ensure it has the proper staff.

What’s interesting about this recent round of layoffs is a new executive hire just before they started. Reddit brought in Harold Klaje as its first chief revenue officer (CRO) on Jan. 23. It’s possible these latest job cuts are connected to him joining the company.
Kek. Guess they're trimming the fat over there too. Won't be anything left by the time they're done.

ETA: they're apparently being pretty scummy about this too, trying to keep it hush-hush and out of the media, at least according to a now former employee posting on Blind:
Former reddit vermin said:
(from https://www.teamblind.com/post/Reddit-is-doing-layoffs-SAkLHfEz) - (archive)

CEO and leadership kept a consistent message that there would be no layoffs after slashing multiple benefits and time off under the excuse that those were necessary in order to retain the talent they most certainly would not get rid of

Fast forward to last week and some quiet layoffs started taking place while people, including on Blind, indicated it's a talent clean up, low performers problem etc

Fast forward to this morning, I get a 5min call from my manager telling me that Reddit has cut my role, I'm not the only one, it's not performance related etc., and then HR spends the next 15 minutes laying out the logistics (incl severance), but access to my computer got cut off before the call even ended

According to Reddit blind, there hasn't been any emails from leadership yet

Reddit is trying to escape the headlines about doing layoffs and trying their best to frame it as a yearly cycle of talent review - the reality is that the company has barely made any progress in recent years and the IPO seems so far away given reductions in valuation

These layoffs are very real and indicative of problems at Reddit, but the lack of acknowledgement is making me feel invisible and alone.

Is there a thread here on Aaron Swartz? I wanna know more about him since i see him only talked about as ununderstood genious.
Is his genious nad greatness overblown or does he deserve it?
i would like to know more

It's really so damn sad, like it's not even remotely a big deal. It's a fucking hour out of your week. I didn't like going to church either, but I'm not going to pretend my parents were abusive by making me go.
the part that makes them so butthurt is that religious upbringing usually involves some form of morality and rules to follow. the common redditor is a nihilist/hedonist who deeply resents notions of morality that would interfere with his mindless self-indulgence.

It's crazy how much atheist rage stems from seething about having to go to church as a kid.

Early 2010s Reddit atheism was incredibly obnoxious. You can still see some of it to this day if you look at the comments section on old religion videos on Youtube or all of the one star reviews of the Bible's Goodreads page from years and years ago that are high in the reviews because of how many likes they got, all of these people repeating the same talking point of how the Bible supposedly endorses "slavery, murder, and rape!" word for word. There are still vestiges of it on Reddit now thanks to how much influence the old atheism subculture on the site had back then. The religion section on Yahoo Answers was even worse for this kind of mentality; like they made r/atheism look civil.

Today in Reddit, an autist is upset because someone asked him to turn on video once and while for work calls

What may be a reasonable request gets shot down by the poster because he's the boss and no one can tell him what to do.

I was curious about this person and so I snooped his account (archive https://archive.md/pB3dc)

He appears to be an expat who currently resides in Portugal and runs some sketchy remote business that sounds like its staffed by Pajeets trying to scam him on time. He also seems to have a girlfriend of some sort, but it's long distance and he has issues with privacy there too.

His girlfriend apparently stole $1k from him, but more recently he is having issues about his current girlfriend (unsure if same) asking questions about him.

His posts seem like a potential gold mine if he keeps going. I may just keep tabs on this guy to try and figure out more about him. He seems so paranoid about privacy, yet shares many details about his life on reddit. Anyone care to gander on what his business might actually be? He mentions FIRE, being a landlord, and flying a cessna in other posts too.

What happened to those people anyways?

From what I can tell, the "I am euphoric" gutted that type of community. It became a copypasta overnight and made atheists too embarrassed to act too uppity because they'd just get insulted by everyone that sees them sperging over religion. It's really nuts how one simple, shitty post managed to dismantle an entire group like that.

Also Atheism+ really dog dicked the community

No they still exist. See all the euphorics posting on r/news or r/worldnews when Pope Benedict died. Also see Professor Dave Explains. I have no idea if he is a redditor, but very likely as he is 100% a subscriber to IFLS and hates Christians to the point he will make a complete idiot out of himself in an attempt to own the godfags.
