Probably ought be better in the Lolcow Redemption thread, but imagine the parallel universe where ole' Dobbo pulled a true 180.

Cut the net off in terms of toxicity, obviously. Calmed down in general from that as the effects wore off, maybe he even got in relative physical shape - still bulky, but y'know, you tell the guy works out even a little bit. More importantly alt-Dob learned to begin enjoying media for himself again. Same for drawing. Maybe he draws not just for fun, but also gifts for others like kids at library events he takes part in, or perhaps makes a couple easy bucks selling his sevices for businesses needing a popout visual... stuff like that. Nobody would've ever guessed the smiling and laid back middle-aged dude who's always ready to doodle you a little freebie sketch if you happened to give him a nice conversation was once THAT guy online. And even if he was, hey, he is who he is now. Awesome.

Like that SYAC story arc he didn't finish starring Kevin James who leeches off his parents, gets fired for screwing up at his job, and almost gets kicked out of his house until he magically gets hired by a publisher right when things are about to fall apart.

I wish he'd just done a full book of those stories because you just know he had more in him where he acted like the victim when it was so obvious to anyone who read them he was the fuck up.
