Meet Mark Appleyard, AKA Bluebottleflyer, a 36 year old cartoonist and comic artist whose whose work and info sheet can be seen below. According to his site, he has been drawing since childhood, yet despite this, seems to be very limited in his range of artistic skill.

Recently, this man garnered Twitter's attention after making a piece of vent art that you can see here below.

Due to the tonal whiplash between his very campy, 80s-esque artstyle and the way the subject matter is presented in his comic, Twitter and others decided to parody the fuck out of it with varying results. Below are some examples.
After his "blow up", Appleyard decided to take a hiatus from Twitter and social media as a whole for a while, at the time of writing this, he has yet to return.
