Inactive Nick Bate / Nickalaus B. Stoutzenberger - (Thread 3: JUDGEMENT DAY)

Here's the most recent info I found on him. From last year. November. He attempted to appeal.

Edit, update. Had the wrong one and it was in 2019. Live was right! Here's a 2017 attempt at appeal, too.

That isn't him. Nick Bate is his AKA. His real last name is Stoutzenberger.

Also the first 3 lines of what you cited should have told you as much bro:

"Nicholas Bates was convicted of second degree assault, felony harassment, and unlawful imprisonment after a violent fight with Morgan George in which he cut open her"

Also shortly after in the "Facts" section:

"In the early morning of July 14, 2019, Bates and his girlfriend, George, had a fight at George's apartment in Lynnwood, Washington"

"Our" Nick has been in prison since 2016.

Clicked the wrong one. Sorry! I can have retard moments. :(

LOL, no worries.

But that may also have been posted previous in the thread. I kind of recall it, but would have to go back and look to be sure.

Making an appeal is always worth it. Might be a long shot and a final kick at the can, but you almost have nothing to lose unless the appeal court thinks lower court was too lenient and ups your original sentence! HA

Thanks for correcting tho!

He tried an appeal, it failed, then was rejected on attempting to appeal to a superior court.

Yeah Null posted this back in 2019 quoting a DM I sent him.

Not sure why the thread is re-opened because both the latest court action and the new-ish mugshot were posted years ago.

And then the state Supreme Court. Unless he filed a petition for a writ of cert. to SCOTUS it's over for his direct appeals.

His only option at this point would be either a state Post-Conviction Relief action, which is somewhat analogous to his other option, a federal habeas corpus petition. Both would be almost certainly doomed to failure. This fucker is essentially buried alive and unlikely to be released still alive.

Think it's something to do with the new coding and website?

Also, I'm extremely proud nobody's bothered writing Nick in prison, nor posted anything he's said here. Him suffering alone, with no contact with others, and not even any letters is probably the best thing that could happen to him.

Nothing. No vidya, no digimon, no playing with his shit (other inmates will kill him) - just... nothing. Only wasting away. People forget - solitary confinement is one of the cruelest things you can do to a human being and they're never the same after.

The fact he hasn't been stabbed to death in prison, I assume he is in protective custody like the other child abusers and sex offenders are. If anyone has bad enough karma, they end up being raped in prison, so much he Troons out. It's Nate Bate.

That's a huge misconception that that happens to all child abusers. Only the high profile convicts get such treatment. Usually the ones who also killed their victims. Everyone else get's to be with the other inmates. Even if someone is in protective custody prisons will have a riot just to get to their target. Happens in Canada a lot.

He is definitely high profile as such offenders go. He got the maximum possible sentence with what he was charged with. Almost anyone else would have been offered a plea to something lesser. Anyone who knows what he did almost certainly shares our opinion of him, and he would be in immediate danger if he were in general population.

Now, to share some empathy. Imagine what it is like to know you are likely to spend most of the rest of your natural life behind bars surrounded by people who would gladly kill you if they got a chance. That's what leads to a facial expression like he has in that mugshot.

Empathy is not sympathy, though. He deserves it. It is justice.
