He mentioned his "5 heart meds!" I guarantee only one of them is for his paroxysmal SVT, a beta or calcium channel blocker. It helps prevent the heart rate from suddenly accelerating and generally prevents anything that is a simulant from accelerating the heart, making an episode more likely. It is an incredibly benign medication. People take them for hypertension (high blood pressure) and stage fright. I can almost guarantee the other 4 meds are because he is a fat sack of shit. It is almost a guarantee that one is a statin for cholesterol (because his diet is shit). Another two are likely anti-hypertensive (high blood pressure, from being fat). The last one is also likely an anti-hypertensive given how high his blood pressure was without any medication (assuming he took it correctly and wasn't lying). Taking 3 different classes of meds for hypertension is not unusual, especially if ACE inhibitors cause coughing. The last one might also be another type of cholesterol medication if his cholesterol is really shitty (which wouldn't surprise me). So, 4 of his meds are preventative, and one of them is actually an active treatment. However, even the treatment is precautionary in many ways, for a condition that is minor problem by nearly all accounts. He could not take it and he would likely be fine.
So, overall, once again, he frames his meds in such a way that "Heart Medication!" sounds so important, but, more likely than not, they really don't matter all that much.
