I thought a sub's job was to implement whatever work the teacher had started, or whatever busy work the teacher has on hand for "just in case" days such as when they're absent and a sub is there. A substitute making lesson plans makes no sense from a logistical standpoint, because subs are often called in with very little notice, and with the grade they're subbing for being a total surprise - how could a substitute create decent lesson plans with last-minute/no notice and all the grade switching? It just isn't feasible.
Porklissa lied. Shocking.
Fat. That's a lot of fat. FTFY. (:
Alabama allows pretty much any hick with a GED and incest-free criminal record to become a sub. The fact that she ever was a substitute should be a testament to the standard of education in Alabama.
I grew up in a state where subs have to be licensed and have a degree. Despite that, we pretty much never learned anything new on sub days. In elementary school this usually meant playing games, reading books or doing random arts and crafts projects, in high school it usually meant doing work on longer term projects, homework for other classes or watching random youtube videos, depending on whether you got a cool sub.

Most of her specific points of bitching about how hard it is to be a sub are either real stresses for full time teachers (but not subs) or things that literally every single job ever requires.
- Time management, schedules, keeping track of things? Every job requires that.
- Making sure kids are growing and thriving isn't a fuckin' sub's job any more than it is a babysitter's job. You're there for like a day or two to make sure the kids behave and are safe while the actual teacher/parent responsible for them is out.
- "Monitoring your self behaviors" is the most basic definition of being employable. It sounds like she's mad that she can't show up smelly and disheveled and be bitchy, rude and inappropriate at work. Outside of work means she's mad she couldn't go to Walmart high off her ass wearing a stained muumuu and slippers lest some kid she's subbed sees her.
- Having books removed from classrooms really doesn't matter when you're a substitute and it's not your authority to pick the class curriculum.
- "Sacrificing home time" lmfao is this bitch for real?
- Underfunding is a real and serious problem obviously but not really a sub's problem because she's not the person who has to find a way to get around tight budgets. Subs don't plan field trips, events, programs, clubs, etc. It's also a problem in most public sector jobs not just schools.
- The shooting part is proof she's full of shit and just ranting about random "teachers have it hard" points not actual experiences of her own work. Because that didn't actually happen to her.
Also like, not only is polissa illiterate and ignorant, she can't even be bothered to take a shower, scoop the litter box or cook simple meals herself. She lies around on her phone all day and has instant access to a wealth of how-to videos and articles on how to do any task you can think of.
But instead she sits around crying woe is me because nobody ever taught her to clean or file taxes instead of like... googling how to file taxes (lol why is she bitching about not knowing how to do taxes? She receives other people's hard earned money)
The idea that she would willingly read up on whatever subject the kids were learning that day to prepare is laughable. She's a narcissist and yet somehow too lazy to do that for herself, much less the unfortunate children who had to smell her yeast infections firsthand.
