Listening back has me thinking. Patrick clearly has heard the episode. He’s been so thoroughly spanked that he’s embarrassed. Guaranteed. Fat doesn’t want his friends or family hearing this because the rant at the end sums up his failings as a person in less than two minutes. That was some dark shit, I have to say i'm actually very interested in justin's podcast now, he let her open up and stayed otu of her way and let her tell her very harrowing story. I have to admit, i'm a bit shaken by the entire thing.

While the grid in Texas has it's issues and the state government has failed to resolve the issue the current situation is due to a freezing rain event, The lines and nearby trees get covered with ice and take down power lines.

I said earlier in this thread that the intro the host gave about Fat Rick was a great hook to get people interested. I have to disagree with that sentiment now because holy shit did that not prepare me for how dark this podcast was. I remember hearing about Nick Bate when I first got into lolcows and following the antics of Jonathan Ross, neither of their threads were as disturbing as the stuff I heard over the past hour. It takes an incredibly strong person to deal with the stuff this woman had to endure, much less publicly speaking about it.Moira Greyland said:

I’m guessing it’s mic sweetening. I googled and it looks like he records out of a professional studio. If you listen to how Howard Stern sounds on the radio vs IRL the difference is night and day. I believe Stern stuck with a specific microphone for years because the baritone it gave him. I think it’s also the same this with SunnyV2. Old SunnyV2 with cheaper equipment sounded higher pitch.
