Ukraine was first created (by Germans) in 1918, way before the communists had any idea of Ukraine. Soviets recognized Ukraine a year later (after they ate it)

This is one reason I love the Balkans, we are so sweetly adept at destroying empires like Ottomans and Austria-Hungary. Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, former Yugo, all these states, cozy stuff, like the Baltics. Russia is the last imperial power of the area, and now we are called to action to tear it apart, like we did with the previous spergy manifestations of greed.

Ukraine was not a sovereign state until 1991. It was a construction of Soviet kikes as an SSR republic before that, and prior to that there was never such a thing as Ukraine.
Was specifically referring to the campaign of Ukrainization embarked on by soviet jews and creation of Ukrainian SSR the first functional Ukrainian state. Also I don't consider the Ukrainian People's Republic or Second Hetmanate because they lacked the features of any legitimate state entity. Neither had actual control of the lands they claimed domain over and they essentially existed in constant competition with various competing factions and anarchist bands until they eventually collapsed. They were political movements at best. Both Hetmanate and UPR were lead by a collection of former Russian military officers who saw Ukrainian statehood as a way to avoid the Red vs White Russian civil war which ultimately turned out to be a fool's strategy.
