It wasn’t even four meals, I counted wrong. She had enough for one dinner, muffins, and then another breakfast, for Friday, but she didn’t know how she was going to make dinner on Friday without having to go back and buy more food. She doesn’t know what they’ll do after that. So, basically, she got 174 dollars in food stamps and she ran through it in four days, and will have nothing to eat for the rest of the month of February.
I think part of the problem is how much money she spends on soda, for her “liquid diet”. A twelve pack of name brand soda is like 7-8 dollars now.
That still doesn't add up. This is one of the most insane moments from her, honestly. Not only does she think this ammount of eating is some starvation minimum, she's warning us all of impending starvation, so she thinks everyone has the same impulse/laziness/gorging level? Just... how?
Even buying name brand meal kits, boxes, or frozen premades (you can't buy fully premade stuff like rotisserie chicken on stamps), she'd still be hard pressed to spend more than $50 on that food. Add even a fucking 12 pack a day, that's still only another $30? Add a couple family sized bags of chips and candy, maybe $30? I just can't fathom the ammount being consumed. No matter how I add it up, I can't break $100 in a few days.
And how does ADHD change the ability to boil basics, or crack a couple eggs? The ammount of meals somebody can make in <10min with minimal planning and effort are endless. I am an absolute kitchen moron, the fuck is she doing?
And I know she hasn't grown that shit, because peppers can be a huge pain in the ass, and cucumbers can be fickle as fuck depending on how prominent certain diseases are year to year. I hope she does try, as it will be hilarious to see her moaning over her individual suffering as every gardener in the area watches the same mold kill half their garden. It isn't as easy as chucking shit in the ground in the first place, Polls. It's a chill hobby, but if rice and pasta is too hard for you to make, try to grow something. I dare you.
