Race-obsessed blacks have deluded themselves into thinking that everything white people do has to do with them, specifically on ways to oppress them. The fact that they might have motivations that have nothing to do with race is beyond their comprehension. It's projection to the Nth degree.

While I have no doubt that racism is responsible for a lot of injustice in this world, it is not the sole determinant of one's destiny.

How is saying "that's not a bad idea" an example of violent language? Do these dipshits need to have their hands held every time they speak in group settings?

So many of these aren't violent, and the ones that are - it's as if these retards have never heard of a metaphor before.

"Beating a dead horse" is not the same thing as "focusing on something". The idiom refers to doing something that is ultimately futile, much like a dead horse won't move no matter how much you hit it. For fuck's sake, Anne, are you an English major? If you are you should hand your degree back for not knowing something so commonplace.

Euphemism treadmile in action. In another ten years, the first one will be considered too violent because launching is associated with missiles. The second will be traumatising to victims of sexual assault stares, and the third will be offensive to people of different time preferences. Everything becomes more and more mealy-mouthed and soft.

A few of these are not even violent, like "bad idea" and "kicking around" (like a ball). Do they hate fun so much that they want to remove colorful expressions from the English language? Also, a lot of the counterparts don't match up. Like being a "straight shooter" means a lot more than just being "pretty direct" and rolling with the punches would be better replaced with "go with the flow" but they seem to hate idioms all together. I have a hunch this is more about ESL people hating autistic English expressions than violent language.

I think I'll bite the bullets counterpart doesn't work either. Most people I know how use it mean "Alright, I'll be the first to do this thing no one else will"

It's such a dog shit comparison; as if people with blindness or cancer or whatever are some kind of unique product of the American system. Surely in Canada or Finland or Cuba people just don't have major medical problems that come to be. You can fairly criticize how the system in place may put some people with those problems in a serious financial bind, but you're aiming at the "Harry Potter is my go to reference for life and Twitch streamers are my messiahs" crowd to act like an evil cartoon villain extortionist in an Uncle Sam suit taps random people on the shoulder and whispers "It's cataract time, bitch."
