Woutske, the owner of Barq (shitty social media app for furries), is facing some backlash for their new fursuit. The fursuit in question was made by DHC, a fursuit maker whose owner was outed as a zoophile, pedophile, and animal abuser.

Somebody asked him who made the suit and he replied that it was in fact made by DHC. Unfortunetly, the tweet of Woutske admitting the suit was made by DHC was deleted and there is no archive that I can find, however somebody did manage to take a screenshot before it was deleted.

True or not, its messy and I love it! Setfesempire "hacked" the other ones OG Instagram and deleted the posts, then tried damage control but never said they weren't a zoophile. (The one thing you'd think they would be screaming from the rooftops)

Hmm....not a lot of mentions of Redflare500 (the living rubber dragon who makes, well, rubber fetish TF art and all sorts of monstrosities), but it seems he was the target of an intentional hit-and-run attack. Unfortunately, he survived, but his dad got killed and his mother barely made it out.

It still amazes me that these people are physically unable to separate their "professional" work from their personal life. Like, what coombrained single-fetish-sexuality furfag is truly interested in someone's personal woes? And yet, while I see plenty of these artists making a token effort to show a more "family friendly" face by splitting their twitters into SFW and NSFW, I can count the number of artists that split personal shit and work shit on the fingers of an incompetent bomb defusal expert's hand.

Oh, yeah. I was already aware of the guy. My questioning was more in the sense that they all do that.

Finding a furry artist that separates their personal life from their work, fetish or not, is like looking for hen's teeth. I guess they're not even trying to find any kind of recognition outside of their fellow furfags, but even then... why would they assume their audience, the people who are literally only there for the oversized tits and the horse cocks, are even remotely interested in personal drama?

Like, at least autistic Japanese artists post about things that their audience might relate to or even be interested outside of their art, be it food or gunpla. But half the time furry artists are talking about "muh dysphoria", or family tragedies of some caliber. And I'm always wondering to myself "who the fuck cares?".

There seems to be a specific demographic of furries (though it seems to be prominently underage teenagers and/or TikTok users) that try to paint/glue shit onto those Jurassic Park raptor masks for a cheap fursuit head. And honestly, I really don't know why they bother. The masks themselves are the usual cheap plastic you'd expect from a $40 movie tie-in kid's toy, so if it happens to get cracked or damaged, there's no way in hell you'd be able to fix it. Add in the extra weight of the paint/feathers/glue that people add onto these things, and it's basically a toy with an extremely short shelf life.

I'm betting the only reason they're as popular as they are is that teens (who don't know any better) often try to use them as an alternative to the more expensive foam/resin bases used for fursuit heads, and they'd have better luck begging their parents for a $40 mask as opposed to a $200-500 mask base. I've yet to see a single custom raptor mask that looks good, but that doesn't stop people from using them anyways:

Baby's first fursuit head, with an easier/cheaper barrier-to-entry than making one from scratch or purchasing a pre-made base. Like any other art form, though, the skill of the maker matters more than the quality of the materials. For fuck's sake, Boomer's newspaper english sheepdog is less horrifying than what some of these kids are producing.
